I was thinking the same thing. I think Philly will ultimately include Drabek in a deal which will be tough for Toronto to turn down.

I could have swore somebody said that Schafer was only sent back down to BC to work on his plate discipline. I must be mistaken though. Either way, I think he's ready to be tested in AA.

I know I've brought this up before, but I think it might be time to give Schafer another chance in Huntsville. He was sent back to BC to cut down on strikeouts and increase walk totals and he's done just that.

I would imagine you'd have to start with their choice of either Escobar or Gamel, plus Lawrie and go from there. The price would be astronomical. I don't know if Arizona is even motivated to move Haren at this point. -

I'd trade Gamel before Escobar. Ugh, I don't want to trade either, but if it came down to trading one of the two, it would be Gamel. I think Taylor Green could be a solid 3rd baseman for us in a couple years or less.

Logan Schafer is 2 for 3 with a grand slam. BC ahead 5-1 in the 6th. I wonder when Schafer will get another opportunity in Huntsville. -
This team is falling apart!! Not really, but it's ugly right now. First Randolph gets suspended, we almost had a brawl last night, Sveum gets suspended, the pitching staff is in shambles, and you never know what you're going to get from the offense. Ahhhh!
