    I knew the top of our lineup has absolutely stunk but wow that is bad and not a small sample either. It's incredible we've won as many games as we have. Chourio and company have got to be better.

    Yelich's groundball rate has to be just insanely high. Almost everything is a grounder to the right side.

    If Fischer is not in Biloxi's lineup tomorrow night, I think that will be a pretty good indication an extension is in the works.

    The Cubs won but at least the Cardinals lost in the most brutal way possible (up 7-0 and gave up 8 unanswered).

    Yeah I'm usually not one to complain about lineups but was Murphy drunk when he put today's lineup together? Lara got one whole start post-Frelick injury before hitting the bench.

    And yet they are still hanging around because of their offense. Would be nice to push our lead closer to 10 games during this stretch where our schedule is on the easier side. After the Marlins, we play the Mets, Rockies, Giants, Angels, Pirates, Twins, and Padres.

    The Yoho special - in to close out a blowout and allows a quick three runs and forces Megill to come in.

    He's been great. Can't expect your pitching to give up two runs or less every game. Offense needs to break out.

    Luke Adams at 24 is really something.

    They kept Chourio in Biloxi through the end of the season and I expect them to do the same with Made. As a side note, I'd love to see a comparison of Made's AA season through 77 games against Chourio's first 77 games in AA. I'd guess Chourio hit for more power but Made has been more consistent overall.

    Nice night for Luis Pena. Hopefully his injury issues are behind him and he can soon join his buddy Made in Biloxi soon.

    So do we know why Lara replaced Frelick so early in the game? Seems odd if not injury-related.

    Those top three hitters for the Marlins are tough. After that, it gets a lot easier to navigate their lineup.
