    We have have made some truly awful trades for relievers at the deadline the past few years, not to mention the Zerpa trade in the offseason.

    I have a few mini rants I need to get off my chest - 1. Jackson Chourio - love the guy but would it kill him to come up with a clutch hit every once in awhile? The swing decisions are still not great and he's not hammering mistake pitches for the most part. I need to see more from him at this point. 2. The Pirates are my new least favorite team. Just a pain in the ass and Reynolds continues to haunt the Brewers. Mark my words - they will sweep us tomorrow with Mis not going. 3. Pat Murphy had a horrendous day. Plain and simple. 4. Get Yelich out of the lead off spot.

    I miss the old Pirates teams who absolutely STUNK. Also, why does MLB continue to schedule games against the Pirates right before the all-star break every freaking year?

    Just a reminder that Luke Adams is still only 22 years old. Guy just needs to stay healthy. How is his defense at 3B?

    Why in the world do they get so much rain? We go through this every year in Pittsburgh.

    I haven't watched the Pirates much this year but they are certainly better than what their record indicates. +33 run differential and their offense is much improved. Gonna be a tough series.

    Ragsdale has been fantastic so far in AA. His 13 walks to 5 strikeouts is what sticks out the most! He hasn't skipped a beat since his promotion.

    You're probably right but I'm not sure why anybody would be off limits for the Giants. They need a total rebuild. High salaries all over the place with just an okay farm system. They are going nowhere.

    I can't believe how crappy the NL West is this year. Outside of the Dodgers, every team is .500 or below. The Giants and Rockies are especially crappy. The AL West is in a similar situation and the AL Central isn't much better. Strange year overall so far.

    His plate discipline has been impressive early on. Has almost as many walks (12) as he does strikeouts (13).

    Walker has been a pain in the ass all week and now we have a game. Can the Brewers add some insurance runs for the love of god.

    Contreras needs the all star break to come more than anybody right now.

    Pallante looks like a carbon copy of the guy we struggled against last night.

    Chourio and Contreras are giving us nothing right now.

    The top of the Shuckers lineup has stunk up the joint but they have one more inning to put up a rally. Fischer with three more strikeouts.

    He's been one of our hotter hitters as of late which says a lot about the current state of our offense.

    That Biloxi lineup is ridiculously deep. Should be a fun series against a pretty good Knoxville team.

    Jett Williams has been hitting the ball a lot better lately. Maybe give him a try.

    He's been Cy Young against the Brewers. Was terrible in his previous two starts.

    Yeah Doug Melvin isn't walking through that door anytime soon.

    Even without Made and Adamczewski in the lineup tonight, Biloxi's offense just keeps rolling. Burke is having himself a big night in his first game back in a week.

    The Diamondbacks are not great this year but weird things always seem to happen when we play in Arizona so I'm not really sure what to think of this series. Just win two and I'll be happy.
