Piggybacking on this thread instead of starting a new one... This video that just posted to YouTube is pretty awesome. Guy in London randomly acquires a t-shirt from a Brewers-connected bar in the shadow of County Stadium / Miller Park (Cesar's Inn, aka the bar owned by Harvey Kuenn in the heyday), travels to MKE to find it, and makes a lovely 20-minute documentary video about the city, the team, the fans, and his overall experience. -
Updating for 50 games as a Brewer (stats x3)... 69 runs, 168 hits, 27 doubles, 27 HR, 123 RBI, 51 walks, and 93 strikeouts. ... And on the averages now hitting .308/.371/.505/.876. I didn't realize Vaughn had 0 HR in the last 20+ games. Not since Aug 15?

15 games logged with the Brewers at this point and hitting .375/.439/.771/1.209. Lazy math to multiply x10 for an entire season's production and the counting stats look like 100 runs, 180 hits, 40 doubles, 50 HR, 210 RBI (!), 70 walks, and 70 strikeouts. Incredible.

The 1-3 hitters in the lineup went 0 for 11. That's pretty brutal. ... Don't win many games scoring just 1 run. ... Seems we did have a lot of hard hit balls hit right at defenders, though. A bit unlucky today?

So Vaughn has 1+ RBI in each of his first 4 games as a Brewer? That seems like quite a feat.

Interesting. I wonder if/how ticket sales are being affected. Seems kindof bold to expect working adults to get to the ballpark by ~2:30 on a Friday, or earlier to partake in any pregame experiences or tailgating. Diehards / big fans might be fine with working around the logistics, but typical groups and families are made up of a range of fandom with varying appeal for prioritizing the inconvenience.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this question... Is there an obvious reason the Fri 7/25 game is a 3:00 start? From an attendance standpoint, that seems rough for a workday.

And the multiple concussions. Feels like it's at least 50/50 that the issue rears itself again next season, potentially even cutting his career short.

Lots of pitches in the 1st inning, two hits on weak contact. Got through the 2nd in about 10 pitches, though.
