  1. Sounds like the initial vote is for early Saturday, that works for me. 11:00 at Lafollette.
  2. You realize that this community would lean Predators due to the Admirals connection, right? Thanks for immediately jumping in and gloating. I hope Phoenix gets murdered by LA. Teams that play in a 120 degree desert shouldn't have hockey anyways. Asinine.
  3. Ishikawa, Izturis, and Estrada (instead of Gallardo). As a ticket holder to tonight's game: NOT BLOODY HAPPY!!!
  4. Corey, come on. Don't complain to the ump because you can't protect with two strikes. Be a better hitter.
  5. Until Hart learns to catch a fly ball in a runner-advancing situation by backing up on it, moving up as he catches it, and getting some momentum on his throw, I'm fine with any and all defensive criticism dealt to him. I think he's a pathetic outfielder. And don't be arrogant enough to tell me my "perception is flawed", either...
  6. Axford must've brought his Staples *Easy* button to San Fran.
  7. I switched from "in-game beer" to "victory whiskey" halfway through that inning. Got faith about this one....
  8. Seriously. Show some balls. Make a scene. Anything to try and shake this group out of the funk they're in. Looks like maybe a manager getting ejected has nothing to do with whether or not a team can rally Or, maybe if RRR had argued like a man, we would have scored four runs instead of only two. I'd tend to agree with you, but I wasn't trying to make that point originally. It's just hard to watch you manager come out and be such a pansy, really annoying.
  9. Weeks, c'mon. You gotta be kidding me. Softball players make that play.
  10. That's awesome. He wasn't going to get to it, but he basically showed no effort. Pretty sad. The kind of thing that could actually affect team culture eventually, IMO.
  11. Ha, never realized you could rearrange his syllables and get Busty Poser. That's fantastic.
  12. Lincecum can't hit the broad side of a barn on the previous four batters, so gonzalez goes up and chases two pitches out of the zone for a K. Stupid. Luckily Lucroy was there to pick him up.
  13. How about the weekend of May 5th / 6th? I think I'm unavailable all day Sunday, and Saturday morning, but I could probably squeeze somethig in Saturday afternoon or evening?
  14. All games at Sijan Field #2 May 17 - (Home) EA Sports Bar - 7:30 May 24 - (Away) White House - 7:30 May 31 - (Away) Club Carnival - 8:30 June 7 - (Home) Landmark - 8:30 June 14 - (Home) Bay Street - 6:30 June 21 - (Away) EA Sports Bar - 8:30 June 28 - (Home) White House - 8:30 July 5 - (Home) Club Carnival - 6:30 July 12 - (Away) Landmark - 6:30 July 19 - (Away) Bay Street - 7:30 6:30 Home = Third Base Bench
  15. Kottaras is a far cry from Lucroy on keeping balls in front of him.
  16. Roenicke, you gotta get out there and argue more intensely. Stand up for your player. Make the ump know you are livid at getting screwed and toying with our chances to win the game. Stop being such a giant wimp.
  17. File that under worst at bats of the year. Pathetic, Hart. And what was Weeks doing almost getting thrown out off the bag on the previous line out no reason at all to be that far from the bag on that play. Just dumb.
  18. Another interesting point about that play, if Nyjer slides head first I think there's no debate and he's plenty safe. Why the feet first slide?? (by sliding head first, you can route your body way off to the side, with feet first you can't as much)
  19. I just watched every replay over again. Im 100% confident the catcher missed the tag. The one angle that looks like a tag is just the awkward way the catcher lunges and his motion is stopped trying to apply the tag and hiring the dirt. Every other angle shows no contact between glove and player. I think the ump made a great call, a rare case of not being swayed purely by the timing of the throw beating the runner.
  20. Based on all the replays i've seen so far, i'll go to my grave believing the tag was whiffed and Morgan was safe. I'm shocked/annoyed at BA sounding so definite that out was a bad call and we caught a break. Throw beat him, but tag looked like it was missed. Safe. EDIT: how have I missed this replay you guys speak of. I'll back up the dvr, but i've been watching closely.
  21. I never saw an angle that showed the catcher's glove ever made contact with Nyjer. In the words of Ueck, "He missed the tag, he missed the tag!" Maybe?
