  1. Yuni couldn't win there, if he squares himself to get in front and handles the bad hop, he probably doesn't get victorino. Goes with the backhand and momentum for the throw, and burned by the hop.
  2. Thank goodness Ruiz' arm is so incredibly terrible. He's given us two runs tonight ... possible MVB. EDIT: I meant Ibanez, obviously.
  3. Mayberry jr. seems like exactly the kind of player that would go yard in the 11th for a walkoff against us.
  4. Prince Fielder, one epic fail after another. So easy to pitch to, so predictable. Approaching Jenkins territory.
  5. Bottom of the order, throw strikes, HIT THE GLOVE. Not gonna get any calls missing your spot by 18".
  6. 3 for 4 with a walk, nothing to be ashamed of, braunie. (not like, say, an 0 for 5 night from the leadoff hitter ... with a costly error ... oof.)
  7. Prince, how are you so incredibly awful at throwing the ball? You played baseball your entire life! My god, you're worse than most amateurs at a basic baseball skill. Just bad.
  8. Even an average throw gets lucroy easily, what a terrible throw from ibanez. (not complaining)
  9. The lateral positioning against howard I understand, but why did casey need to play so far in? Looked like he was up near the grass. Bunt protection?
  10. A line of 7.2 ERA, 1.4 WHIP is pretty crummy. Maybe he'll hold them in check for one or two more innings and bring those stats down, but as they stand, they're crummy. 89 pitches in 5.0 IP is also pretty crummy.
  11. Consecutive crummy starts for Gallardo, and this one against the worst offense in the NL. Painful stuff....
  12. I think next friday (26th) would work best. It's a home game, meaning no chance for a rainout, and it's a 7:00 game instead of the 6:00 east coast start on monday. That work for you drick? Recte? I talked to houle and he's in. EDIT: Friday the 22nd.
  13. Great question. The guy is just so bad on defense. Horrible double clutch, god awful throw. You don't see that in amateur ball. Ugh.
  14. Any interest in getting together for a night of watching Brewers, enjoying some beverages, and talking about the upcoming BF.net softball season? This Friday? (6:05 game, not ideal, but Saturday is a 12:05 game, eww.) Next Monday or Tuesday night? I was thinking a place like Long Wong's, but it could be anywhere....
  15. Smart pitchout by the Cubs. Nervous as heck about Ax coming in....
