He was the answer to a $2,000 Jeopardy question today. Sorry I deleted the episode from my Tivo so I don't remember the exact wording of the clue. t was something along the lines of "The royal name of the youngest baseball player to ever hit 50 home runs" I thought it was cool....

Yeah, the title of this thread really should be changed because it seems that everyone else here who used Turbotax had no problems. Myself included. I got my DD on Wednesday and I used turbotax as well.

Well, It's done. I kept it plain and simple. I was expecting lots of drama and arguing on her part but she threw me off my game by staying pretty quite and just saying "ok". She was mad, but stayed calm. She didn't even ask why - which I attribute to her realizing it was coming. She's done a (documented) sub par job, been given plenty of warnings and, I'm sure, she knew there was a search under way for her replacement. To top it off, she's been having an "inappropriate" relationship with a married co worker for some time now. She was hired and placed in her role long before I even began my job and she worked 3rd shift so this was actually my first real contact with her. Not a cool way to spend the weekend, for either of us. But I'm glad it's done.

So far, no luck. She is avoiding me - no doubt. She works third shift so I was hoping to catch her on her way out of work. Now I'm faced with the prospect of having to intercept her before she goes to work Monday. Fun times.

I have to go into work this morning to let someone go. She's a bit of a drama queen and I'm expecting this to be ugly. Wish me luck.

I've talked to that particular dealer many, many times. He's had that ticket for anywhere from $25-$40 for over a year now, still no takers. I was going to buy it this weekend as a gift for my brother (June 25, the date on the ticket, is also his birthday) but I just couldn't do $30 for a group sales ticket with a $1 face value. BTW, the sale price does not include the nice screw down case he has it on display in. Thats extra.

I saw another set in person this past weekend ($150) and all the "S" cards were upside down. To date, I've only see one "S" card with the S correct side up - and it's in my collection. To bad it doesn't make it worth anymore. -

Could very well be. I know a lot of bartenders don't even know whats in it. As a matter of fact , the waiter came back to our table to ask us if he ordered it correctly.

of? Four horseman. Jim. Jack. Captain & Jose. $4 at my local bar. I've had this drink at a regular Fridays - heck - I've had it at the Miller Park Fridays before and NEVER was it anywhere near $28. I had it at the 300 club last year and it was $12. How they justify this is beyond me. And we're talking shots here!

From JSOline... Apparently, if you don't have a home run, you can't be on "Good Morning America." OK, just kidding. But, for whatever reason, GMA has canceled the in-studio interview with Prince Fielder and wife Chanel schedule for Saturday morning. Instead, GMA says they will run a taped interview with the couple, done earlier in the week in Milwaukee, either Saturday or Sunday. Interesting that they don't even specify the day. Oh well, I guess we can all sleep in tomorrow.

Just to add a little. The whole "Club", in addition to the name change, was remodeled this season. Personally, I love the change. It went from dark and blah, to very bright and just very nice. I was never that impressed with the .300 club, but I like the new metavante club a lot more. Have not had the buffet since the opening year. Prices are on the higher end ($12 for a burger) but what else would you expect. Mixed drinks are slightly more than at Fridays ($8 compared to $6.50). Shots were like $12 each though (ouch). Although I will say, after Fridays charged me $56 for two shots without so much as a warning, $12 seems like a steal.

I couldn't care less for the box. I only keep them in case I trade them and the other person does want the box. I agree with Rickiejr, if the bobble is in good condition - thats all I care about.

Last season I posted the the video clearly saying "slopper". I did a Lexis/Nexus search of every printed reference to the video and everything said "slopper". Yet the debate didn't die. Thats when I realized some people will never admit when they are wrong.

Yes he did, but not for the reason being talked about here. Wegman talked his way into an inning of RF in his last game in the big leagues. He said he knew he was going to retire and it was something he always wanted to do (play the outfield). For what ever reason, being at that game has remained one of my favorite game memories.
