I agree with the Braun being confident, not cocky stuff. It may appear cocky but it's not like he's talking about how he's the best player in the world or anything. He's confident in his abilities and he gets fired up sometimes. His ejection earlier this year was just his being a little too fired up and slamming his helmet on the ground in frustration. He didn't get in the umpires face or start a pissing match or anything. As for Molina, yeah the pitch was borderline. But from what I remember, Lucroy didn't have to move his glove at all so the pitch may have looked a little better than what it is. Definitely too close to take with two strikes and no reason to go nuts like he did. -
He's recovering from shingles. I had the exact same thing and it started in my eye. Worst illness I've ever had, by far, and I would completely wish it on my worst enemy. Also, LaRussa has been wearing tinted glasses forever.ah, heck, you're right, it's shingles. I knew that, too. Why did I type lupus??? That makes me laugh right now that I typed that. Let's be fair, a 3B with decent speed could have also gotten that as well as a speedy LFer if Braun didn't run like he was trying to swim he might have got there Ha, I was thinking that when I saw him running.

It's really hard to blame him for that. Even an average SS is probably going to have to at least spin and make a decent throw on that up the middle. Edit: and I'm not really a Yuni fan, I just think that was a tough play.
