  1. Yeah, our chances are better vs. the Reds then say the Red Sox, but it is still probably just a 15% chance...and I don't like making bets like that. Perhaps not even that: Brewers Sweep: 12% Brewers Win 2: 37% Brewers Win 1: 38% Brewers Swept: 13% It's hard to be favored on the road, it's asinine to call for a SWEEP on the road, no matter who you are playing. Tampa Bay, anyone? Two out of three would be GREAT.
  2. I assure you I get alot more pleasure from being wrong and the Brewers winning!
  3. But, I thought Branyan strikes out too much. O yeh, and noone else wanted him, so he must stink! He sure isn't going to sport a .900+ forever but it sure looks nice http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. If he can be ridiculing and condescending in his sig, why can't you? Yeh, apparently he didn't see the irony and threatended me anyway.
  5. I have decided never to engage in a conversation with BJames ever again http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/grin.gif Is that a face @#%$ of the guy from "King and Queens"? Opps!
  6. putting guys on 2 and 3 with one out isn't a good idea? Not with your pitcher up. Nope. Now obviously you disagree with everyone just about everyone else on this topic (and many others) so I guess there's nothing more to say.
  7. I don't know if I've EVER seen the #8 guy be asked to sacrifice bunt. Maybe I just don't remember it, but it's obviously not sound strategy. Now 4-0! Wow! Kep coming!
  8. No doubt they should have bunted JJ there. Sacrifice BEFORE the pitcher? That's a new one.
  9. No Eckstien either. Damn him and his .600 OBP!
  10. No Walker or Edmonds We haven't seen their best lineup yet, have we?
  11. Well, Magruder is batting lefty anyway, and he's hopeless over there.
  12. 12 losing seasons has just made me bitter. I like watching Ben ptich, I just want him to dominate and carry the team for the 2nd half. I believe he goes on an incredible tear the Brewers can contend for the wild card. I'm desperate to watch meaningful baseball in September! We're there with ya. Trust me.
  13. Please don't happen what I think will happen. EDIT: Atleast they got the one. WHY Magruder over Jenkins?? let me guess, I'm being mean to Yosty
  14. I hate ground rule doubles http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  15. I guess this loss will be soley Sheet's fault to some. I mean, they did score ONE run for him. He should pitch a shutout everytime!
  16. I'm flying into Ontario in a couple weeks http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  17. Sheets pitched inside on Pujols, inducing him into a flyout. Why didn't Bill repeat his notion that "you should never pitch Pujols inside." He must have forgotten.
  18. Lee has a .561 OPS in July. I knew he was struggling but, WOW. ANOTHER BALL IN THE DIRT GET'S PASSED MOELLER???
  19. .610 OPS for Hardy, BTW. He really isn't THAT far away from what most were predicting for him. .220 BA, .650 OPS an OK goal by the year? NL average SS this year only has a .681 OPS.
  20. Wow, another ball gets past Moeller... never say that coming. I'm sure Sheets LOVES Moeller. D.P.... nice.
