    I have a feeling Mat Gamel won't have a lot of problems with options in his career. He uses one this season, next season uses one to start the year in Nashville, will be up and down next year, should be a regular on the team in 2010 with an option to spare.

    The Brewers were absolutely pumped to get Lucroy in the draft. I've heard from people in the draft room that Lucroy is all they could talk about on draft day thats how excited they were.

    Doug Jones, I pretty much lost all respect for you as a poster today. If Ned Yost is going to be fired then he's going to be fired. I cheer my heart out day in and day out. No matter how much I want Yost gone, I never want to see this team lose. Are we going to win 162 games? Of course not. But I think it's pretty sad when fans aren't that upset because maybe Ned Yost will get fired sooner. Thats a terrible attitude to have. We're working with what we have right now. And what we have is Ned Yost like it or not. I'm not going to say your not a true Brewer fan for your recent comments, but to tell you the truth it makes me a bit sick to my stomach that some people feel this way.

    Listen, I love Russ as much as anyone else but who's spot is he going to take? Spot of the 13th pitcher? I'll give you that but I'm just not ready to release a bullpen arm yet. I wouldn't mind if Counsell got 2 starts a week, anything more is probably too much.

    Well, first of all you're probably going to be boo'd off bf.net for suggesting that Gwynn should start next year. Personally I don't think that the Brewers will pick up the option but will try and sign him for less next season. If they don't pick it up and don't sign him next year I think that the outfield situation will look like this. Corey Hart will be starting every day in RF. Billy will still be in center with Gwynn spelling him occasionally against RH pitching, similar playing time to Counsell. Left field will be a platoon between Gross and Mench. I was a Gross hater for the last year or so but he's grown on me and I think that a platoon of Gross and Mench will be just as good if not better then one of Jenkins and Mench. Gwynn's speed on the bench could also be a nice as we all know.

    When I was reading the terms before I signed up it said you get up to 4 tickets. After I completed the registration it says you get up to 2 tickets.

    Made it to MP for the first time this season last saturday for the Reds game. Now I've tried my fair share of stadium food at MP in my past experiences, but the chicken nacho grande behind home plate by the mix drink stand is simply amazing. I am forever in debt to that stand.

    No chance. I'll admit that I sometimes over-value prospects. But Salome may be playing a big role on this team in a couple years.

    The argument over weather or not Sheets is injury prone or not is stupid and really doesnt matter. Fact is hes hurt and he cant pitch. What does a bunch of know it all's on a message board arguing weather or not he's injury prone going to do to help that. Sometimes you just get hurt, simple as that. Does it suck? Heck yes it sucks but arguing over weather or not our ace is injury prone isn't going to help. Put the effort into a pointless argument into something like backing whoever is going to take his place, which looks like Yo for the moment. Go show us who's going to be our #2 next year Yovanni.
