    Yeah I'm in the boat that they aren't being used enough but it's been OK so far. For example I would have rather seen Gamel pinch hit tonight over Counsell but thats just my opinion.

    Gamel's bat plays. Last year Brauns bat played, not matter how bad he was at third base. Give him a chance.

    Why on earth would you limit his potential to the bullpen unless he was severely needed like Joba last year.

    Thats a really good comment by the Ohio fan. I think Pujols is over-reacting quite a bit personally. This pales in comparison to what Joba Chaberlain, K-Rod, or Zambrano do on a nightly basis.

    Check out this guys blog about the game last night. He has lot's of comments from Pujols and all that is fine. But he hit a nerve when he started talking about the Brewers in this paragraph. First of all, Carlos Villanueva is not a journeyman. And Ron Artest....really? LINK to article

    He's miffed that you called a guy with 19 homers and a slugging percentage of over .500, a slap hitter. I though that was clear in his post.

    I need a beer after thinking about this. It's making my head hurt. Sad thing is, I honestly feel that all 3 of these players will be an every day Brewer starter some day. (If they aren't traded obviously)

    Looking at the situation, it seems as if Agent39 knows who the player is. Based on that, it's probably one of his clients. Right off the bat that eliminates Lucroy. (Thank God) Brantley has already been named to the AFL and they usually need to know the team he is coming from so I'll say that eliminates him. So that leaves Lo Cain and Taylor Green. I'd hate to loose either but I'd much rather see Cain go than Green. Unfortunitly I'm guessing it's Green.

    Ok....I officially have a man crush on Caleb Gindl.

    I really don't think it's a question if they are going to pick up Cam's option but rather when. I do not see a better option then Mike Cameron in centerfield next season. And like many others have said, at 10 mil, it's pretty cheap for what your getting. If he didn't have the suspension, there wouldn't even be an opportunity to have an option year at 10 mil for him. Brantley and Can will both get full season's in at AAA next year (assuming they aren't in the Sabathia trade) and hopefully one of them is ready to start in 2010. I thought that Gamel might be ready for a full season in the majors next year but he's shown signs of being human over the last month. There is really no reason to try and push him into a corner OF spot just yet. Let him grow at third in AAA as well.

    Wow...Braun...how can a guy look so bad on the first 2 pitches and then smoke one out of the park with the game on the line in his home town? Classic.

    The sponsors make the game fun to me. I find my friends and my self constantly yelling "let's get some Badger Mutual insurance runs" in our softball games like someone brought up the Hardware Hank thing...this stuff is what Brewer Baseball games have been about. When Dave Bush is getting rocked in whatever inning I can't count the number of times I've yelled for a U.S. Cellular call to the bullpen. Learn to live with it because it helps pay the bills.

    No offense to Mark, because I like the guy, but I hope with the stage our franchise is at right now, that we have a better option for a 5th starter then Mark DiFelice.

    I would think so as well. And if he's cleared to be throwing off the mound, the knee must be sufficient enough to take that pounding. I wonder if he can jog at all at this point.
