  1. So "when the time is right...you'll be ready" is actually a reference to relief pitchers?
  2. Boras usually is looking out for his best interests. Boras didn't really lose too much - Matt Harrington lost everything. It is a similar situation with Prince. Boras can afford to gamble and shoot for more money. Prince would be best served to set himself up for life. (By taking a quality long term deal like Braun)
  3. Jeffress ended up giving up 6 runs on 4 hits and 1 walk. (Two HBP) 4 amazing innings for Jeffress. 1 horrible inning. But who cares, at this point - it is all about potential. And this kid just oozes potential.
  4. Catching prospects (Lucroy & Salome) spend most of their off days as a DH. It is certainly more important they they continue to get at bats than a pitcher. However, watching Sheets bat is frustrating - so I see your point. Maybe more emphasis on batting for pitchers in practice, but no need to take it into the game.
  5. Lake Delton was overrated anyways.
  6. Band Name: Beyond Jericho Album Title: Much of the Time http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/35c15a9e8c0399ebaab389e57f344ca62350693.pjpg Apparently, I am a Christian Rock Band. I am pretty amazed at how well they all go together.
  7. Nelson Cruz sure does own AAA. He hit his 19th HR against Nashville tonight. Entering today's game he had an OPS of 1.126 It's hard to believe he can't at least be average in MLB.
  8. Dontrelle is so bad he made me come to a Non-Brewers IGT to make sure someone else had mentioned his stat line. That's bad!
  9. Jeffress has an amazingly high ceiling. I wouldn't trade him straight up for Roberts.
  10. Most have been said already - but Tyson and Bryson have been pretty big disappointments for me. I was really hoping they would both solidify their status as legitimate prospects. I am also surprised no one mentioned Jeffress as "Good". He has had his ups and downs, but he might have the highest ceiling ever for a Brewer's pitcher.
  11. Gamel is officially in a slump. It was one hell of a streak.
  12. Gamel's 53 game on base streak is in danger. He probably only gets one more at bat.
  13. Butler pitches 6 shutout innings. He really needed that.
  14. Yeah, bad week defensively for Gamel. Let us hope this is just a hiccup on his way toward further improvements.
  15. Kendall has been AMAZING defensively this year. (Yes, that is bolded, underlined, capitalized and italicized. He has been that good)
  16. So your logic for playing Kapler is because he is faster and better defensively then you expected - even though Cameron is still faster and better defensively than Kapler. How does that make sense? I like Kapler. I love giving him a few at bats and using him as a pinch hitter - but he has a pretty lengthy history suggesting he won't keep this up. I doubt aging and retirement make players better.
  17. Jinx. I believe you owe me a soda.
  18. I just looked at "Can Bill Hall Pitch" Makes me want to cry now. I'd like to knock some sense into Bill Hall with my autographed pink bat.
  19. Braun has an OPS of .728 against LHP this year. He was amazing last year against LHP. But that was likely small sample size driven - no one can be that amazing against LHP. (Not saying Gamel wouldn't fit in the 2 hole, just pointing out that many are still assuming Braun is still amazing against LHP)
  20. Updated version has us taking Fields in Round 1. Round 1: Josh Field Supplemental: Wade Miley Supplemental: Tyler Stovall Round 2: Anthony Gose Round 2: Adrian Nieto Round 3: Joe Wieland That would be 4 high school players.
  21. Derrek Lee, but I think he stays at 3B.
