Braun playing poorly the whole season - xisxisxis I wouldn't say the whole season. He nearly single-handedly is responsible for 3 of the 31 wins, IIRC.
This. So predictable really. Beat teams they are supposed to beat (Padres). Lose maddeningly to teams better than them on paper (Cubs & Cardinals) and split against everybody else. 82-80. They could go 36-126 for all I care, just beat the Cubs and Cardinals, but it never happens. Its almost as if I've read this story too many times before.
Well, if you are going to nitpick, turnabout is fair play. Are the Brewers only playing 161 games this year? Yes. Late season rainout at Pittsburg that won't need to be made up.

I doubt it. There are national guys that have sources on this. There would be rumblings if something were imminent. Welp. Clear winner and loser in this debate.
Since I live in Salt Lake City (but am not religiously affiliated), I'm flabbergasted that I didn't know this bit of information. Very slightly related, Ty Detmer was released as OC from BYU Football as well. Either of these guys worth an interview?
I assume Mike Pettine brings the 46 defense traditionally used the Ryans and the '86 Bears? In this scheme, the corners play man-to-man exclusively and zone is not utilized by the secondary. If this is true, I like this hire and this scheme.
