  1. Of course the Cardinals get to play the Padres with Clevinger and Lamet hurt and not on the roster.
  2. Suter is generally okay for 3 or 4 innings so I'd try that. Depending on how the game is going I'd empty out our scrub relievers if we're losing by a few runs. If not go with reliever matchups.
  3. They gave that guy an extra yard or two on that catch. That wasn't forward progress, he ran backwards before being contacted trying to pick up more yards.
  4. Packers media in absolute tears right now with the game Taysom Hill has played.
  5. It's the weirdest thing. If you're not going to use him there, when are you going to? And if you're not going to, why did you use a high pick on him?
  6. The creativity of Mike McCarthy with the looks of whoever is the cutest Jonas Brother.
  7. 3rd and 5 hand off to Jamaal Williams. I feel like the Packers exist just to enrage me.
  8. That was some of the worst "tackling" I've ever seen.
  9. Jenkins threw himself back because he was afraid to run into Lewis without his head turned around. I didn't really see any meaningful extension by Lewis.
  10. I don't see the push off that they see there.
  11. That back angle showed it like 5 yards over his head and a couple yards out of bounds. Was shocked when they threw the flag and even more shocked when they didn't pick it up.
  12. Feel like I'm watching a Bret Bielema defense with the corners playing 10 yards off the receivers and then back peddling on the snap.
  13. The one thing Brees can do we're allowing him to do and it is f-r-u-s-t-r-a-t-i-n-g.
  14. ESPNEWS (I think they use Caesars) had them at 45-1 last night. Only the Phillies had worse odds and they're not in anymore obviously.
  15. We played the Twins, White Sox and Indians 13 times but also got to play the second worst team in the AL 4 times and another bottom 5 teams 3 times. It's still not a comparison. Weren’t we comparing the NL Central and NL West? You're the one who brought up the AL Central and West.

  17. I don't think adding a guy who can't hit or defend would help our already slim chances.
  18. The NL West's 3rd place team had basically the same record as the NL Central's and their 4th place team was only 3 games behind us and those 3rd and 4th place teams also had to play the top 2 teams in the NL 20 times. It's just not even a comparison. The Rockies and Giants went 6-14 against the Dodgers and Padres. We had to sweep the Royals to finish with a winning record against the Pirates, Tigers and Royals. "Not even a comparison" Well obviously, if their third place team was almost as good as the mighty Reds (or even the Brewers!) Of course it's not a comparison. The Brewers aren't playing the two best teams in the NL for a third of their schedule. I don't know why it's so hard for you to admit.

  20. A crappy division that is home to half the NL playoff field. Worst division winner, 3 mediocre at best teams and the worst team in MLB. Meanwhile the West had the top 2 teams in the NL.
  21. Umpire really screwed the Giants there. Brewers also got the benefit of playing in a crappy division.
  22. Rock is a simpleton. Outs = cruising. Doesn't matter how hard the balls were hit, they were outs so he was good.
