  1. If they could have foreseen the global pandemic, I'm guessing they might have waited on the Yelich extension. He signed the contract less than a week before spring training shut down. The WHO declared COVID-19 a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on January 30th. Must have just magically appeared with no warning that could have been forseen.
  2. A quick Google search seems to contradict this: - https://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/1904963 - https://www.tampabay.com/sports/rays/2019/12/17/rays-officially-add-yoshitomo-tsutsugo-lose-avisail-garcia-to-brewers/ But the key point. If they didn't want him at that amount coming off a good season, they aren't going to want him at that amount coming off the season he just had and certainly not with Snell going the other way.
  3. They aren't anywhere close to completing a rebuild. What's hard to understand about that? They're currently 3 starting pitchers, a 1st baseman, 2nd baseman, maybe 3rd baseman given Seager's age, a corner outfielder, catcher and basically an entire bullpen short of completing their rebuild. So tell me how trading for Hader completes their rebuild.
  4. It doesn't need any analysis. Seattle is in the middle of a rebuild. They aren't trading their top prospect for a reliever that will be a free agent by the time they're contending. Pretty simple.
  5. I think it looks nice at night. Daytime looks a little weird.
  6. Seattle is not in any position to trade for Hader. Flat out just won't.
  7. Even if they managed to convert that the play before they run on 3rd and 2, get stuffed and then waste 30 seconds in the next play. Just no concept of time management.
  8. Reminds me of Schoop honestly. I'd pass.
  9. He's punting on 4th and 4 down 10 with 6 minutes left. That's embarrassing and fireable.
  10. Same question I asked before, are you new To following Wisconsin football? We have zero ability to comeback offensively, and it has basically been that way for 30 years now. I'm not and I know we're not built to comeback but not even trying just by the runs and using a ton of the play clock is really disappointing.
  11. The worst part about that drive is how slow they were going. You're down 10 in the 4th quarter. Some urgency would be nice.
  12. To who? Nobody had their head turned. It's like they just assumed that Mertz would have 5 seconds to throw.
  13. 4th and 6, they come on a blitz and not a single hot route for Mertz to go to if there was pressure.
  14. 30 yard fade to the corner of the end zone. What am I watching?
  15. Run it with Dike too. The 5th year senior that barely plays isn't the guy to give it to there.
  16. This offense is a disaster.
  17. It's sad that I wasn't 100% sure that they were going to call that incomplete.
  18. Literally drops a pass and they called it a catch.
  19. If that call earlier that was ruled a catch stood, that one should have too.
  20. I'm sure they'll overturn this even though they didn't reverse the other call earlier that they should have.
  21. Honestly, just as bad as the Purdue call last night. This was worse because it should've been OPI. He looked back, located the ball, intercepted the ball and got pulled down by the shoulders by the receiver to try to prevent the INT. At least on the Purdue call there was a very slight extension of the arm by the receiver.
  22. HOW IS THAT PASS INTERFERENCE ON WISCONSIN!?!?!?!??!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
  23. Why I could never be a coach. I'd get so many 15 yard penalties and probably assault charges for crap like this. Especially after those two soft ass PI calls on us.
  24. I've stayed sitting down for the anthem for years because playing it before sporting events is stupid.
