  1. The answer is Jason Marquis. Wouldn't be shocked if Marquis was bad enough that this lineup could score 7 runs off of him. Also wouldn't be shocked if this Brewers lineup is bad enough that Marquis could get 7 shutout innings.
  2. Two solid years that led to what? A combined 156-168 record with no playoff appearances. The Lohse signing did absolutely nothing for this team other than costing us a ton of money and a draft pick.
  3. Hamilton CF Votto 1B Frazier 3B Phillips 2B Bruce RF Byrd LF Pena C Cozart SS Marquis P
  4. That and Jason Marquis is horrible/somehow still in the majors.
  5. I didn't think that far ahead. Much like Brewers' management.
  6. I made this comparison on another board a few years ago and was pretty much laughed at. It's sadly looking true at this point. Maybe they'll surprise us and trade Luc and Gomez and completely tear it down and rebuild. I'm not holding my breath on that though.
  7. Blindfold night. If you wear the blindfold for the entire game you get a free ticket to a future game.
  8. Johnny Estrada
  9. Saw this on Baseball Tonight just now. DeSclafani threw his slider 29% of the time tonight. It was 23% in his first two starts. Hitters chased 60% of his sliders out of the zone tonight. It was 23% in his first two starts. Hitters tonight went 0-10 on at bats ending with his slider.
  10. Cubs call up Addison Russell.
  11. 64 pitches for DeSclafani through 6 innings. 2 hits, no walks. There is not a single thing this team is doing well.
  12. SS Jean Segura C Jonathan Lucroy RF Ryan Braun 1B Adam Lind LF Khris Davis 3B Aramis Ramirez CF Gerardo Parra 2B Hector Gomez RHP Wily Peralta If Ramirez keeps going at this rate, he'll be released by June.
  13. Id imagine the stitches make it heal faster. He also made it seem like it wouldn't stop bleeding. Sure but in less than a day it looks that much better? I also agree with the poster that said it doesn't really look like something that would happen in a shower. I punched a wall once and it looked a lot like that. Didn't need stitches but little cuts all around where my knuckle made contact with the wall.
  14. Looks like pitchers are throwing him a ton of breaking crap down at his shoe tops and he can't touch it. He's never been a patient hitter and now it looks like pitchers have found a major weakness and will continue to exploit it until he adjusts.
  15. That didn't even look like it needed stitches. I got a cut on my finger a few weeks ago that looked worse than that.
  16. Since their high water mark of 19 games over .500 last year, the Brewers have gone 33-58. That's around 104 losses over 162 games.
  17. Former Brewer Gabe Gross is an analyst for ESPN/SEC Network's coverage of SEC baseball.
  18. Davis can only throw a ball 100 feet if the ball is also chucked 100 feet in the air. There's not a lot of things most people on this board can say they're better than MLB players at in regards to baseball but I'm pretty sure the majority of this board has a better throwing arm than Davis.
  19. Oh there will be flaming. http://media.giphy.com/media/wvFrJa4aWKuvm/giphy.gif
  20. I love the way Ennder thinks he's so much smarter than the rest of us and doesn't even try to hide it.
  21. Was thinking the same thing. We never got the good explanation from either Mark or Doug. Maybe they just think we're all sheep and will support the team no matter what. and sadly, they would be correct.....for the majority of us anyway. Not so much the casual fans, but most of the posters here are pretty passionate about this team. I'm passionate about the team but I'm sure as hell not going to support the team if there aren't major changes not only to the roster but the philosophy of the entire organization. I can watch the Stanley Cup playoffs until Memorial Day and then the pool opens at my apartment so instead of watching the Brewers, I can go swimming, which I enjoy. Then when the pool closes on Labor Day it's Packers season.
