  1. You're basically saying the difference between things going badly and "pretty epic tanking" is 4-6 games. That's pretty ridiculous and it shows that the writer isn't as far off as some seem to think he is.
  2. No Braun tonight. CF Carlos Gomez C Jonathan Lucroy 1B Adam Lind 3B Aramis Ramirez LF Khris Davis RF Gerardo Parra SS Jean Segura 2B Scooter Gennett P Matt Garza Rockies CF Charlie Blackmon RF Carlos Gonzalez SS Troy Tulowitzki 1B Justin Morneau 3B Nolan Arenado LF Corey Dickerson C Nick Hundley 2B D.J. LeMahieu P Jordan Lyles
  3. Davis is 27 and in his prime. The chances of him getting better are slim. Gennett seems the same as Davis, what is he going to improve on that makes him much more valuable? And now he doesn't have a platoon partner which he'll very likely need. I have a hard time seeing the Brewers improving on the .283/.334/.441 line they got from 2B last year. Segura might improve closer to what he was in 2013 but that's far from a certainty. And as was said in the blurb. Lohse is 36. We have to accept the fact that he might be done. Garza hasn't pitched 200 innings since 2010. You can probably count on him missing at least a couple starts. Who knows what we get out of Fiers and Nelson. If either of them struggle or someone gets hurt our lack of options in the minors is completely underwhelming or worse. So 67 wins is definitely a possibility even if the team stays relatively healthy. And the bad taste the offense left in our mouths at the end of last year certainly didn't make us feel any better with their display yesterday.
  4. I would say it. It's hard to disagree with any of it. I picked them to finish 4th in the division ahead of only the Reds but it wouldn't shock me if the bottom completely fell out and we finished last with 65-70 wins.
  5. Well this is going to intercost us.
  6. Good start you guys. http://media3.giphy.com/media/6dJaim7ELSxmE/giphy.gif
  7. Lohse almost gave up a homer to Kendrick. Minimal changes seems like it was the right thing to do.
  8. But Brian was just telling me what great shape Lohse is in and how he looks nothing like 36!

  10. I'm partial to the loge area. Especially anything from 214-223.
  11. An absolutely amazing deal for Atlanta. It's basically Wisler, Paroubeck and the 41st pick for Kimbrel and Quentin and Maybin for Upton. They win on both deals.
  12. He's not good. I don't particularly care what team he got traded to.
  13. Do you expect a new stadium to bring some excitement to the Bucks? The Bucks just have a weak following and in my opinion people in Wisconsin don't really care about the NBA. I don't even think they cover anything related to a possible new stadium where I am from and that isn't crazy far away. After the first year of Miller Park, fans started showing up less and less frequently until the team started winning. And if you think it's a pain to get to downtown for a game, you're doing it wrong because it's incredibly easy.
  14. A 27 year old posting a .329/.364/.613 line in an extremely favorable hitting environment doesn't scream must trade for to me. Especially when he can elect free agency after the season if he's traded. So he either sucks and we're paying a sucky player $5 million per season over the next two years or he's good, he opts out and probably gets a better deal elsewhere and we lose whatever assets we have to give up for him for only a year of production.
  15. GenoSeligPrieb is a great choice. I'll throw another name out there. Bruce Ciskie
  16. Definitely recommend these two places with kids. Sweet Dreams is like a 50s Diner, which is kinda cool. Ice cream as well, which is nice in July. Marty's is pretty expensive but is good. I think calling their pizza pretty decent is selling them way short.
  17. The committee always makes some baffling decisions. Go back to 2004. Wisconsin was "rewarded" after going 24-6, winning the conference tournament and being a top 10 team by getting to play in Milwaukee and getting a second round matchup with top 6 ranked Pittsburgh. It was one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen. Two top 10 teams meeting in the round of 32.
  18. Certainly not Braun. Looks like just a random name on the back of the jersey and that looks more like a Braves uniform than a Brewers uniform.
  19. It was on FS-WI today. The announcers were from Angels radio and they were awful.
