    How late did you arrive? If it was right before first pitch he probably wanted to unload them for anything he could get. Plus a Thursday night game isn't going to draw in a big crowd anyways.

    I don't see Kansas City going for that. I would do it but at this point unless they can turn it around (and I don't think they can) they look more like sellers than buyers.

    I think it's mainly a lack of quality starting pitching. Not sure how a different manager or "leadership" changes that. [sarcasm]Leaders will tell the starters to pitch better. Duh.[/sarcasm]

    The worst part is they traded Harris away to get the 8th spot when they basically already had it sealed anyways. They weren't beating Miami so there was no reason to make a "win now" move when it wasn't going to advance them in the playoffs and their spot was basically locked up.

    Cubs go with Bryant. Thought they'd go pitching but hard to argue against taking the best power bat in the draft.

    We called up a starter for a starter that went on the DL and we're going to use a reliever who hasn't thrown more than 2 innings or 30 pitches this year as the starter instead. Brilliant.

    Here's my thing. Everyone now knows about that so if your dog takes a crap why would you give out any information when a person starts talking to you? And even if you did, now that the person knows about it why would they open the box? I would think most people would know when they're expecting a package to arrive so if you get a random package in the mail why even open it?

    I'm not watching the game. Should that be in Blue? Or are you serious? I believe it's a joke because whenever Weeks would strike out a couple times in a game fans would be all over him and calling for Gennett. Now Gennett does it and he looks awesome doing it.

    I thought that was a homer at first but after looking at it it looks like he hit the top of the wall and bounced forward instead of bouncing back and hitting the wall. Bill just needs to shut up when it comes to replay.

    If someone made an offer for Weeks I just can't imagine Melvin saying let us call up this guy and see how he does. If he does well we'll do the trade, if not, no deal. That goes for any player, not just Weeks. You either think the deal benefits you or it doesn't.
