  1. But a lot of people do. It probably doesn't pay to go to court to fight a $100 speeding ticket with no guarantee it will be overturned. However if it's say a $1,000 fine plus a month in jail, I would imagine at least 99% of people would fight it.
  2. Uhh, no. If I'm caught vandalizing property but think I can beat the charge why wouldn't I try to beat it, even if I did it? It's nice that you want/expect people to tell the truth right away and own up to what they did but that's not human nature.
  3. Well this will likely turn into a great deal for the Cubs as Neil Ramirez is a possible PTBNL. If they don't pick Ramirez they get to choose two other PTBNL. Without knowing the other players on the list, I would take Ramirez and run.
  4. He was trashed by Braun, then for maybe a week Brewers fans hated him and then life went on.
  5. Not that what they're saying is wrong, but those are some pretty high horses. I chuckled when Schilling said the collector had his life ruined.
  6. This post has kind of been forgotten about. Are you joking or do you have a link of some sort? He tweeted it. He's not going to appeal it was just funny how Witrado said an appeal was coming even after Braun made the statement basically saying he made mistakes and wasn't appealing. Basically it was making fun of Witrado, like we did in the good ole days.
  7. FAKE OUTRAGE!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Witrado saying appeal to come even after Braun's statement.
  9. MLB‏@MLB3m "I wish to apologize to ... all of the baseball fans especially those in Milwaukee, the great Brewers organization, and my teammates."-Braun
  10. MLB‏@MLB3m "I realize now that I have made some mistakes. I am willing to accept the consequences of those actions." - Ryan Braun.
  11. Don't know if he's suspended and appealing, if he already appealed and was denied, whether he bargained down the suspension or what. ------------------ Previous topic: Braun, Biogenesis and the Whole Crazy Thing
  12. I would say the only game they beat up the Marlins was yesterday. I would hardly call a 2-0 and 1-0 13 inning win beating a team up.
  13. The Brewers match up great with Pittsburgh, they have a great farm system, we need help in our farm system, we're sellers, they're buyers. The only question is whether we want to "trade within our division" that everyone is so worried about that I think is the dumbest thing in sports.
  14. Didn't know the date but that was my player and team, just to be slightly different from you I'll say he's traded July 25th.
  15. Pretty sure it is your Adobe Flash. I had the same problem a while back and after I updated Adobe Flash it worked again.
  16. It's not old but it's not young either which is what logan said.
  17. 10 smallest markets
  18. Colorado wins the lottery so they'll pick first. Edit: Brewers get the last pick in the first phase, #37 overall. 32. Rockies 33. Orioles 34. Indians 35. Marlins 36. Royals 37. Brewers
  19. I think you can take off any team in the division unless it's a crap for crap trade like McGehee for Veras. Teams are just nervous about former players burning them 15-20 times a year even if the team in the division offers the best deal. One of my pet peeves in sports.
  20. Not that I want to "go for it" next year because there is so much that needs to be added and so little talent to acquire those pieces but people concerned about payroll I don't get. We'll be getting $20 million from local TV, $50 million from the new national contract. Sell 1,500,000 tickets at an average of $20 and that's $30 million plus concessions, parking, revenue sharing that hasn't even been accounted for and they're already well over $100 million.
  21. I just can't. There's always been something a little off pitching wise with him that I can't just completely buy in to him. Maybe it goes back to the Jeff Suppan comparison mlb.com made when he was drafted. My problem is he masters Brevard County last year, moves up to Huntsville and proceeds to walk over 7 per 9 innings, granted it was only 46 innings. Then he comes back this year, masters Huntsville and moves to Nashville and so far in 32 innings he's walking nearly 6.5 per 9 innings. How's he going to fare against much better and much more patient hitters? Unless we can clone a bunch of Betancourts. I think he'll probably struggle next year.
  22. I think the Brewers would have a better chance of getting a pitcher because you know you control Gallardo next year. If Garza bails, you traded pitching and now have a hole in the rotation to fill.
  23. Try to click on the highlights if you want to laugh.
