  1. Based on what? Some executives didn't even know Lawrie was available when the Brewers traded him. http://brewersbeat.mlblogs.com/2010/12/06/some-execs-surprised-lawrie-was-available/
  2. I hate the logo. Looks like the Tin Man and Pinocchio had a baby.
  3. TV coverage has been the best it has been in years for me. They've been on FS Wisconsin, FS Wisconsin +, NBC Sports Network and BTN and they always have replays at 10 on Wisconsin Public Television.
  4. Funny. A year into the CBA and the PA is again complaining about draft pick compensation. You had a chance to fix it and screwed it up again. Blame yourselves, idiots.
  5. We won't even get that. We get absolutely nothing for Marcum.
  6. Yeah but they had to give up Mashhad, Tabriz, Karaj, Shiraz and Qom.
  7. I bet Towers gritted and grinded his way to the finish line to complete this trade.
  8. Love this move. One of the better and more unique jerseys in baseball. http://media.philly.com/images/600*450/091011_Brewers-Uniforms_400.jpg
  9. The Bucks have survived 20 years of being a horrible team for the most part. The way small market teams win in the NBA is sucking for a few years until they get young, talented players. That's how it always will be. If the Bucks don't want to do that, fine. Just don't expect to have people come and watch as you try to make the playoffs as an 8th seed, fail a majority of the time and when you do make it get knocked out in the first round.
  10. Fans aren't going now because they don't care about watching a 7th seed. Lose for a few years until you get your LeBron or Durant or even a Harden level player along with an Aldridge level player.
  11. I think the timing of the WBC is off. Players and teams are going to be wary of playing during spring training because of a possible injury and missed time for the team that's paying them. What if a player severely sprains their ankle running to 1st like Weeks did in 2011 and has to miss a couple of months? What if a pitcher gets a sore elbow? I think you would get more players participating if it took place in say December. You give them a little break from baseball after the World Series and also enough time to recover from injuries so that most injuries would be healed by the time spring training starts and even more importantly the regular season starts.
  12. What do Ibaka or Howard have to do with the all-star team? They play in the West, Sanders play in the East.
  13. Am I the only one who wouldn't care or even want to win a bunch of those? I counted like 16 that I wouldn't want to win.
  14. He plays in Milwaukee, he has no shot. Same way Dunleavy had no shot at 6th man last year. Heck, Sanders probably won't get most improved player even. Dunleavy had no shot at the 6th man last year because James Harden and Manu Ginobili are way better than him.
  15. 1. Yellow jersey 2. Cream colored jersey 3. Ball and Glove jersey
  16. I believe it's going to be to the left of that. Think like section 202. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/mil/ticketing/seating_pricing.jsp
  17. Well in the hashtags he says we're wasting Braun's prime which says we should win now and he says we shouldn't rely on everyone in the rotation after Gallardo and he says we don't have the farm system to get another starting pitcher. Maybe I'm just connecting the dots wrong.
  18. So Passan said we have a barren farm system (true) but he wants us to get another starter. So he's suggesting that we go out and overpay for one I'm guessing?
  19. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/nationals-journal/wp/2013/01/16/nationals-trade-michael-morse-for-a-j-cole-in-three-team-deal/ I sort of get it for the Mariners, I don't get it at all for the A's and I love this deal for the Nats. This could be Corey Hart's main comparison FWIW.
  20. Upload it to some image site (imgur, tinypic etc.) and then get the url, paste it in here and then highlight it and click the "Img" bar above.
  21. Pitch limits are 65 in the first round, 80 in the second and 95 in the semi-finals and finals.
  22. It was only 30 innings. Just like his awful May was 30 innings. Nobody should have expected him to pitch to a 2 ERA in Nashville and nobody should have expected him to pitch to a 9 ERA in May this year in Nashville.
  23. Zach Randolph is nowhere close to as good defensively as Sanders and Sanders is nowhere close to as good offensively as Randolph.
  24. That was an encouraging report on Jungmann. I laughed when I scrolled down and saw Henderson at 4. No offense to Henderson because I think he can be a quality bullpen arm but a 30 year old reliever is not a prospect.
