  1. Yes, #11 Rivera for the Marlins is former Brewer Mike Rivera.
  2. I've been rooting for the Brewers to finish with the worst possible record since about late May.
  3. Well it's not going to be Braun. So it's either Gamel or Hart. Link
  4. I just breezed thru the game on DVR, so I'm assuming you're talking about Weeks' final at bat with the bases loaded. Disgraceful. Took amazing restraint from Rickie to not lay out the ump there. It was actually Bush.
  5. I understand why we should do it and I agree with doing it. I just don't think Mark A. sees it that way. Maybe it's just because I'm setting my expectations really low for a Fielder return, but I don't see it happening.
  6. They don't support the Bobcats. The Hornets already moved from Charlotte and the Bobcats attendance still sucks. They don't really support the Hurricanes either. They were in the bottom third of attendance in the NHL the year they won the Stanley Cup and a year later, when you expect a big boost in attendance, they were still in the bottom half. I think Vancouver would be a fairly interesting candidate. Baseball is fairly big over there since they can play it most if not all of the year and some good talent has come from British Columbia: Jason Bay, Justin Morneau, Michael Saunders, Ryan Dempster, Jeff Francis, Rich Harden and of course Brett Lawrie are all from British Columbia. Not sure how Seattle would feel about having a team in their own backyard though.
  7. Now where does that compare to the rest of the league?
  8. That was seriously a called strike? Umps must want to get back to the hotel.
  9. I think the chances of Attanasio picking up a significant portion of Fielder's salary to produce for another team next year is about as likely as him increasing the payroll to a half a billion dollars next year.
  10. The Reds would be winning right now if Brandon Phillips wasn't an idiot.
  11. I wonder how many 6 hitters have had sub .300 SLG% this late in the season. My guess is not many.
  12. I'm not sure how that would work since there are usually pretty good rookies who play well for most if not all of the year. I guess he could win it again because he would still be considered a rookie. Love the stud Irish pitching prospect, btw. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  13. If they move, I hope they move out West so we can have 5 teams in each division and just play interleague all year.
  14. All of those players are eligible. They have no chance to win it for obvious reasons, but they are eligible and they are rookies.
  15. http://www.tintdude.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/rimshot.gif
  16. Maybe Prince should stop saying it wasn't a strike when it was clearly a strike.
  17. That's Brewers like defense from the Reds.
  18. Jeffress, Rogers, Cain.
  19. Volquez will strike out against Coffey, Phillips will then hit a grand slam.
  20. Cardinals losing 5-2. Reds winning 4-0. Let's trim that magic number down to 4!
  21. He still has a year of arbitration.
  22. When you're diving for the ball in the outfield and the ball ends up in your glove, you often don't know if you caught it on the fly or trapped it.
  23. Easily the most annoying commercial I've seen in the past five years, at least and probably longer.
