    Buster Olney was doing one of his spots on ESPN a couple days ago and was asked about Chapman. He said he talked to a scout at the game who had 105 on his gun and he thought it was broken so he changed the batteries on it and the next pitch registered at 104 on his gun. I would think it's a legit fastball.

    Gameday had Chapman's second fastball at 102.5 and the second fastball to Counsell at 102.7. Man, he would look amazing in a Brewers uniform. LOL. Gomez against Chapman.

    I don't remember where I heard it, but it was about Stetter being unlikely to be called up.

    Yep, the Cardinals aren't a good hitting team but they have a bat as part of their logo. Their pitching is good, so they replaced the bat with a pitchers' mound.

    I laughed at all of the AL Central ones except the Twins. Cubs, Dodgers and Marlins were the NL's funniest.

    I wish I would've kept track from the beginning of the year how many times Gomez has swung at two pitches nowhere near the strike zone only to take a called strike three. It's happened at least three times that I can remember.

    Stetter's at like 87. I don't think he could hit 90 on his best day.

    High 80s to low 90s is fine for a lefty, like X said. Thanks for that SCB. He's 24 years old, move him up and see what we have. No use in having him destroy younger competition and it's not like he was a 40th round pick, they took him in the 6th round so they obviously thought something of him. He performed well in Wisconsin last year and then for 25 innings in Brevard. What else does he have to do?

    Yes. Somehow the road team, who is really not used to the shadows has been able to score 6 runs per game on average on day games at Miller Park this year. Maybe instead of whining, they should try to figure out what the road teams are doing.

    Yeah she sits like that every once in a while. I just happened to turn around while she was and had my phone with me so I could take a picture and post it. My uncle's dog sits like a human all the time. It's so funny how she'll get on the couch and just sit there like a person.

    Wasn't really paying attention but I'm pretty sure it was a grounder to Fielder who flipped to Gallardo, who then flipped it back to Fielder when Kemp tried to make it home then Fielder threw to Lucroy to get him.

    Don't know, game isn't on TV. Judging by Cory's voice it sounded good enough to be a hit, but Blake made a nice play on it.

    Yeah, a year older than Lawrie his second time through the league. When he was Lawrie's age he posted a .595 OPS in 400 at bats in the same league.
