He played 3rd for 15 games four years before he got traded. That really does nothing to help his value. I would say Prince's value is pretty similar right now compared to what Teixeira's was in 2007. Maybe a little more valuable since if he was traded this offseason, he would have two full years left before free agency compared to Teixeira's 1.5.
I think Meche is a great option for us. He's pretty good now, good stuff and moving to the NL should help. Likely wouldn't have to give up a ton for him either.
Not sure how both of them are. Even if you assume Braun's out, then Fielder comes up with a single as the next hitter and drives in Counsell and there would've been two outs. So there should be at least one earned run in that inning.
Kendall and Counsell hitting 1-2 is just unbelieveably bad. Edit: It's dark and scary when you're in the chat alone *hint, hint* http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
I don't think the point of this thread was "he's the least of our problems" or "it's just a cold streak." I think the point was, it's probably good to keep your mouth shut about the pitching, because the offense hasn't done much lately either.
Eerily similar to Parra. Both threw 110 pitches in their last outing. Both threw 77 strikes. Both are left handed. Both struggle with walks and control. They're less than one month apart in age (Parra is 21 days older) Both were removed from the rotation recently. Due to necessity (Johnson injury, McClung ineffectiveness) both were put back in the rotation.
