  1. When's the last time that happened twice in one homestand? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. Santana is getting some love from the home plate umpire. Strike one to Prince and strike one to Cameron were balls.
  3. Changeups move down and in to left handed hitters. Which is exactly where they want the ball. Edit: Just look at that at bat by McGehee. Three changeups, all moving down and away and he flailed at two of them.
  4. That fan should've touched it. Prince would've gotten 2nd base instead of a single.
  5. ESPNEWS saw this too and had a segment on it. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. Wily Peralta #3 pitching prospect? A travesty I say! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  7. Why would it? Morgan is an outfielder.
  8. They're talking about this on WSSP right now. Gary says they should do what the players want. Josh says he doesn't think it should be closed, but since the star players on the team are calling for it to be closed, it will be. Sparky calls the players mentally weak and says he's not going to go to any games if they close the roof because Miller Park is a sauna in summer with the roof closed and that's not what he considers a good time. I fall between Sparky and Josh. I completely agree with Sparky that Miller Park is awful with the roof closed in summer and I wouldn't consider going to a game with the roof closed unless they decided to put air conditioning through the whole park. I don't agree that they're mentally weak because even just watching the shadows on TV, it looks brutal. I also agree with Josh that I don't want it closed as a fan, but since the players want it, it will likely happen.
  9. Is embarrassing okay to use for that or are some people going to whine about it?
  10. Ugh, why the hell do you send the pitcher there? The bases are still loaded for Prince, instead it's a double play and Prince leads off the next inning.
  11. And when I posted that, the sun was shining through the windows. Even Schulman was surprised the roof was closed.
  12. It was sunny when it was closed and the rain lasted about five minutes. And I'd rather watch baseball in a rain shower than sit in a sauna, which is what Miller Park is when the roof is closed.
  13. Schulman: "Jeff Francoeur is struggling some." Yeah, you could say that. I could say the only reason he's still on that roster is because he's a hometown kid. He's an awful player.
  14. I'm not excited about him either. He must have some great speed though because it's hard to imagine any player leading a league in stolen bases when he barely has an OBP over .300.
  15. Just incredibly disappointing the past day and one inning.
  16. Seems like you should have FS Wisconsin on then. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  17. What exactly are Randolph and Sveum teaching him that Don Money couldn't?
  18. It's one of my rants as well and it's inexcusable. Either play him everyday or send him down. Sitting on the bench doesn't help the Brewers and it doesn't help Gamel either.
  19. That's not the point. The point is there is no excuse for wasting Gamel's service time on the major league club if you're not going to play him at least 80% of the time. It does nothing for any development he might still have and it might come back to hurt the Brewers financially in a couple years.
  20. He's started 23 of 42 games since he's been up. So yes he has. He's also had six of those games at DH, which isn't really helping with his main problem.
  21. Why? He's a 26 year old waiver pickup with pedestrian minor league numbers. He's the definition of an "okay" player.
