"I love this pick. He's some kind of good looking kid." Just shut up. If that's all your commentary is going to be, I'd rather not hear any.
-
Kyle Gibson to the Twins. I wonder if he'll sign or if the Twins just took him to get an extra pick next year.
-
Think Toronto goes with Canadian kid James Paxton?
-
More like second or third round, which is where he was projected.
-
Jon Hart on the best thing about Alex White "Big heart, big desire." Ugh, just awful, awful coverage.

Top Notch Starters at Deadline
trwi7 replied to Hate those Rodents's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
From what I can find, he doesn't have a no trade clause and his average fastball is 90.6 according to fangraphs. -
Mike Leake to the Reds. Just meh.
-
Yeah, he's not going to blow you away with a mid 90s fastball, but look at his competitiveness!
-
Why would Minor be taken with a top 10 pick? He's not high upside, he's doesn't have great stuff. He just seems like a #3-4 starter. I guess Atlanta wanted a safe pick now that their Georgia boys were gone. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

This coverage on MLB Network is awful. Every pick is a "great pick."
-
Anybody else notice that Gindl is playing CF for the Manatees today?
-
If you don't have MLB Network and want to watch the draft. Here is a link. ESPNEWS will also have Keith Law breaking down every pick.
-
According to Keith Law (insider), the Pirates are going to take Boston College catcher Tony Sanchez fourth overall. This is a huge reach.
-
I think September and early October in Wisconsin is great.

Brevard County game one postponed. No idea if they'll try to get the second game in. Edit: Both games have been postponed.
-
This is weak. I heard on the radio that there was going to be severe weather in the Oconomowoc area, we've had nothing so far. The storms we got last night were much worse than the "severe weather" so far today. Edit: I'm watching channel 4 right now. Their coverage is just awful and awkward. They're actually interviewing people over the phone about what they're seeing in their neighborhood.
-
I just figured that would happen anyways since he's making his first major league start.
-
Yes, that was quite a cheap "triple."

Nice play Cameron. /blue font

Now you can really compare Powell and Provus' voices. Here is Cory interviewing Jim in the pregame show.

2009-06-06 Non-Brewers IGT: Dillon vs Sabathia

I agree he should've had Bruce at the plate. The second I saw Bruce run I thought he was out. -

They didn't have a chance for Bruce at third since nobody was covering and that ground ball that scored Bruce wasn't even close to being hit hard. -
Our fallback option was Ray Allen.
-
Did Gamel even have an oppurtunity on a ground ball tonight? I honestly can't remember one.
