  1. Gil Meche has been a very nice signing for Kansas City.
  2. Seems it never rains in Southern California. Seems I've often heard that kind of talk before. It never rains in California. Except in the Northern part. It pours. Man it pours.
  3. So if my math is correct, then Peralta would start the game at Miller Park with Adams being the first reliever.
  4. The Bucks are 10th right now. The only possibilities for them are 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12 and 13. The only way you can move up in the draft is if you're in the top 3 and you can't move down anymore than 3 slots from your original slot. So if you have the 5th worst record you can't move down any further than 8th. That's worst case scenario.
  5. I don't think it did. It tied the game, Rottino won it in extras. So Braun's clutchness >>>> Rottino's clutchness >>>> Gwynn's clutchness.
  6. It was their call. They decided to play Los Angeles in an exhibition game last night and wanted an off day after that game so it was scheduled for Tuesday.
  7. Perplexing to say the least. He just turned 20 and held his own as a 19 year old in the Midwest League. No reason to move him to the bullpen this early.
  8. That's three players to wear #14 in the last two years (Gross, Branyan and now McGehee.)
  9. Yeah, same thing goes for Rob Wooten and Evan Anundsen.
  10. Strike zone started changing. A lot of the pitches that went for balls in the 1st turned into strikes.
  11. Hitting .330 would be an amazing accomplishment since he's never done it and it would be higher than his OBP in AAA last year.
  12. Absolutely classic. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif I did the same thing to my dad. One of my proudest moments. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  13. I disagree. His pitches were in the zone, by adjusting, he's either going to have his pitches go out of the zone, where there's no chance they're called strikes or throw pitches right down the middle, where they'll get hit. If he's in the zone but on the corners, you would think the hitters would eventually start swinging at them. Edit: I should add the new gameday is great. It has a strike zone so you can see if the pitcher's getting squeezed. There's also a new gameday premium that you have to pay for, but you get hot/cold zones, average pitch speed, release points, pFX.
  14. Funniest empty threat my dad would ever use. He would take his belt off and snap it, but never use it. He wasn't afraid to have us kneel on a broom stick though. I'd almost rather try the belt to see which one hurts less. The belt would hurt more right away, but the pain would likely go away quicker. The broom stick was a slow torcher and boy would the knees feel it for at least a day after.
  15. Just to be clear, while there is a better chance that your daughter will be left handed, odds are that she'll still be right handed. As for advice, I don't have a daughter or a sister, so I have no first hand experience living with kids or babies that are girls. So in that respect, I'm pretty much useless. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  16. I had the same problem the past two games. Annoying.
  17. Tigers will eat the $14 million owed to him.
  18. Whoa, a flashback to 2007. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  19. And in those 594 at bats, he's hitting .237/.299/.313 I wish Richard Justice was the Astros GM and we could put Ed Wade on the Cubs. Or maybe Justice on the Cubs. Either way, it'd be bad for both teams.
  20. Good to see Frederickson walking only one in four innings.
  21. I sat in the right field bleachers a few years ago on opening day against the Astros and there were no problems.
  22. Kyle C. Nintendo
