Bases loaded nobody out. Take out Marquis for a pinch hitter Lou! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Reed Johnson ties it! 1st and 2nd nobody out for the Cubs.

If you hit a groundball or a little flair some of those might fall in or sneak through. You don't have that possibility with strikeouts.

Who cares? It's one game and the two times they did it before they drew about 15,000 for both games IIRC. They've done it before, I don't see why they don't do it again. Especially when they drew nearly three times as many people as Fox Cities Stadium holds.

I would take a game a year at Miller Park when the Brewers are on a roadtrip. That's what they did for a couple of years before the Brewers moved to West Virginia. Really cheap tickets too, which was a big time plus.
  6. trwi7
Why? The math is still on our side. /Yostshot
  7. trwi7
So we downgrade the offense and the defense? That's not easy to do in one move, this would do it however.

    METS LOSE!!!!!!

Well who plays from the minors? Escobar isn't going to take over for Hardy. Branyan was doing fine in a platoon until he got hurt, then we found out Gamel got hurt so he can't help and we have enough problems getting our backup catcher who has been with the team the whole year playing time so Salome would just be a pinch hitter. We hardly sold off all of our minor leaguers though. We still have Gamel, Escobar and Salome. And we'll be giving up one of Brantley, Green and LuCroy it looks like. We still have Jeffress and Periard for pitching and we just had a bunch of picks in the draft. I think management felt they needed to make the playoffs. It's been 26 years, getting a guy the caliber of Sabathia to push the team over the top was a great move. Unfortunately the offense fell asleep in September and still hasn't woken up. We had a 5.5 game lead to begin the month and that move was looking great then. Now it looks terrible because we're on the outside looking in.

    Typical.

Bases loaded for Prince. He owes us for that error that led to three unearned runs. So knowing the Brewers, here comes a popout.
  15. trwi7
The Reds are just teasing us. Allowing a leadoff homer and the next batter to reach, then an error. It's going to suck when we lose.

Wait, Sveum pinch hits Hall for Counsell and Baker counters by taking the right handed pitcher out and putting in a left handed pitcher? What a moron.
  17. trwi7
    PINCH HIT FOR COUNSELL!!!!
  18. trwi7
I like Nelson. If Prince was traded I wouldn't mind if he got a chance to start.
  19. trwi7
That's fine but we went from having a lead to not having a lead because Prince's defense is horrible.
  20. trwi7
This would be a perfect time to pinch hit for Kendall. It will never happen though.
  21. trwi7
Prince is the worst defender I've ever seen.
  22. trwi7
Should we call him Garth Sveum or Dale Iorg?
  23. trwi7
I'd bat Sabathia second before Counsell. Pathetic.
  24. trwi7
    This team is done.
  25. trwi7
Yes, let's give Counsell more at bats. That's exactly what we need to do.
