  1. nobody really knows, just like with most of these players. he did get to the QB last season, which the packers need. I am sure less people would be enamored with him if he wasn't a badger and JJ's brother.
  2. http://dailysnark.com/adrian-peterson-closing-1-year-3m-deal-saints/ if the price tag was 1 year 3 million, i would have been happy if he signed for the packers. i'm sure he would have taken that from the packers over the saints to get to play the vikings twice
  3. right now i think it would be minimal, if he still has an ERA less than 3, the brewers could probably move him for a top 100 prospect or 2.
  4. he won't be a first round pick anymore with the failed drug test news today
  5. well that is due to picking at the end of the 1st round every season just about. I think Watt has been as consensus of a mock draft selection as there has been in recent years.
  6. i think the packers pick will be watt, peppers, lamp, or tre'darious white. i would be happy will any of these 4.
  7. personally i think zafirros is way better than palermos and i would rather pay 10 bucks for that pizza than 6 for palermo frozen pizza but i agree it would be nice to offer sausage, pepperoni , or cheese
  8. why would you move thames in the lineup, everything is working fine. Unless there is an injury to one of the OF's and the brewers continue to play well, i see no need to bring him up until september. let him have a full season in triple A, don't forget that he was texas's double A when the trade went down. why rush the process?
  9. i hear you, its a great business model for only stubhub, since they get about 20% from the seller and the buyer for doing nothing. you do have to pay convenience fees if you buy tickets on the brewers website though. if in the end you save money by buying tickets from them, i have no issue with it.
  10. the corporate deals are nice but still tickets on stubhub are going to be cheaper on most nights than even the corporate discount tickets. for example next sunday i was looking for tickets and terrace reserved was 13.50 with the discount, but i still scored tickets for 8.50 on stubhub.
  11. yeah i didn't know he even did a mock, it popped up on my facebook feed and i thought it was ridiculous so i had to share regarding your comment on not drafting a guard, i know history is not on the side of yes, but if lamp is around i think he will consider taking him (doesn't look like he will though)
  12. considering ted's recent 1st round history, i would be fine with the packers trading that pick for butler or sherman.
  13. Chris Collinsworth has the packers taking Mixon in the 1st round in his mock, which i would not be a fan of https://www.profootballfocus.com/draft-cris-collinsworths-2017-mock-draft-deshaun-watson-first-qb-off-board/ If the packers take a day 3 flier on him, i wouldn't be too upset. everyone deserves a second chance and its not like the packers haven't brought in players with a checkered past before (Colt Lyerla comes to mind right away, even though he wasn't drafted)
  14. patrick, i agree with you that WR is a bigger need than what people realize, but i do not think it should be emphasized this draft. The packers offense is going to be different this year with two new tight ends and they still have some young WR's to count on (Adams, Janis, Davis and Allison). I also think the emergence of Adams helps. The packers have needs at RB, guard, and all over the defensive side of the ball that in my opinion trumps wide receiver in this draft. that being said if someone drops in the first few rounds i would have no issue with taking one.
  15. Scahill should get the spot and I doubt goforth will be claimed but the rule not letting teams call up players on the 40 for 10 days to start the season is dumb, forced the Brewers to dfa 2 players
  16. he never drafted a WR in the 1st round though. The Packers have so many needs I hope they look elsewhere for atleast the first round. His 2nd round WR drafting though, i agree, has been spectacular.
  17. NXT / 205 live are the only shows that focuses on wrestling, but the talent isn't the same as raw / smackdown obviously. if you thought smackdown was full of filler you better not turn on monday night raw
  18. im focused in on Watt, Peppers. or Lamp.
  19. Its alarming that they would say that. Especially considering Smackdown has been by far the better show the last year. They'll get some back - Charlotte, Owens, New Day, probably a few others. Hopefully they at least make it close to even again. its helps that they brought up Nakamura and Dillenger to smackdown, but it appears that they will be on Raw for the new shuffle if this article is true. I enjoy Smackdown, with it being 2 hours only, there was less time wasting and the story lines were better anyway.
  20. http://content.sportslogos.net/news/2017/04/Milwaukee-Brewers-2017-Special-Event-Uniforms.jpg
  21. at first glance, not a fan. i understand its in Miami its celebrating Miami's culture, but i am a minimalist when it comes to these types of jerseys. The jerseys are not that bad, but the hats are ugly.
  22. that hasn't been going on for a while, it sort of died when Stone Cold stopped wrestling.
  23. i disagree, in september you never run out of pitchers with the expanded rosters, playing at Miller Park gave the brewers a slight disadvantage that no off days were built into the schedule like the cubs have to do each year.
  24. I don't think the WWE will ever learn, Smackdown has been been the better show since the brand split, but they dumped a bunch of their key stars because they view smackdown as an "incubator" for Raw. http://www.inquisitr.com/4135938/raw-smackdown/ i only can hope some good talent goes back to Smackdown which will keep the storylines fresh on both shows instead of treating Smackdown as a AAA show, and NXT as AA.
  25. This. With the pickup of Franklin, Rivera is expendable. very much so especially with De Jesus in Colorado Springs
