  1. I dont like the alternate. I am not a moron. I am also not 10. I love the home and roads. I want to wait to see a better image of the alternates, but from the blurry image that is posted, i do not think I will like them and would have preferred that they simply had blue / cream alternates. molitorfan, the reason is that I love the classic look of the main jerseys. I do not like the trend of just putting a logo on the chest of the jersey (golden state). The green and whites had a modern yet classic look. I think everyone should hold off judgement until they are revealed and you can see a clear picture. I wonder if that will be tonight at the open house.
  2. this is a leaked document of new uniforms for next season. Its pretty hard to see how they look, but it appears to be just a bucks head on the chest. I'll have to see it closer but I do not think i am a fan. http://i.imgur.com/WCz2uBI.jpg
  3. Draft Results: http://m.mlb.com/news/article/138004138/competitive-balance-lottery-gives-draft-picks Sucks that they didn't get a round A pick, but I will take solace in the fact that the cards got nothing, which is a nice sweetener for any deadline trades.
  4. i guess it would bring some life August and September for some teams, similar to what the 2nd wild card did. The brewers were pretty much done in by the end of April. I agree though that its very gimmicky and screams minor leagues.
  5. JohnBriggs, i think you made my point better than I did. of course any player is tradeable when you are 17 games back, but alot of players carry more internal value than trade value. My point for this topic was to identify those players.
  6. the 5 players i have listed, are players the brewers shouldn't be motivated to move, but as I said, if a team wants to overpay for them, have at it.
  7. Over the weekend, i had a discussion with a bar with a guy who is adamant that the brewers should not trade Parra for any reason, to play CF if and when GoGo is traded. That made me think who do the posters think should not be touched. I hope this isn't repetitive, but didn't really see a thread like this. my list isn't large: 1) Blazek 2) Jungmann 3) Knebel 4) Smith 5) Nelson
  8. i should have said a clean win. i agree there is no harm in that.
  9. i really like how they ended the lesnar - rollins match. Allows Rollins to continue his reign while Lesnar doesn't have to take a loss. Looking forward to undertaker - lesnar 2.0 at summerslam.
  10. I have watched very little of the bucks summer league, but the 2 things i took away is that Vaughn could be a decent player but not this season and Inglis is not in basketball shape. I like the Idea of bringing in KJ McDaniels as a backup 3.
  11. I do not believe that the country board needs to approve. I would think that the common counsel will be the hardest to get through, but the bucks have the advantage that each member is representing the city of Milwaukee which stands to gain the most from this development.
  12. saw on twitter that the senate deal is done and will pass tomorrow according to Lena Taylor. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2516192-milwaukee-bucks-new-arena-latest-news-rumors-speculation-on-potential-deal EDIT: ADDED LINK
  13. I think it would be smart to promote Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch at the same time. They could form a faction like The Shield or Nexus. It would breathe some life into the womans division. They have nothing else to proove at NXT and would give an opportunity for other female wrestlers like Alexa Bliss or Dana Brooke to see what they can do. There they are ! I really like the idea of pairing Becky and Charlotte with Paige and Sasha with Tamina and Naomi. Can make for some awesome matches. After Raw, I am thinking that Brock will win the belt on Sunday, setting up Triple H vs Rollins at Summerslam.
  14. Agreed, i really wanted him drafted at 31 last season. They just don't have a roster spot for him right now.
  15. yeah i really hope that Wagner, Cravy or Jungmann don't see Colorado Springs again this season.
  16. according to brewhoop my math wasn't correct, they have some cap space now but not much. I still would have rather just kept Zaza around then, since they were far below the tax threshold.
  17. i agree that if they were just looking to dump bodies it makes more sense to dump Bayless and Plumlee rather than Dudley and Zaza. I do understand that the new owners would not want to pay any of the luxury tax, with the organization in flux right now.
  18. there is no cap space, because the bucks signed Middleton (with his bird rights) before this trade, they went way over the salary cap. This was only to cut costs. bucks were 22 million under the cap after the Ersan trade, traded for Vasquez for 6.5 million, signed middleton for 14 million, signed monroe for 16.7, saved 5.2 million for zaza, saved 4.3 million for Dudley = -4.5 million over the cap before signing Vaughn.
  19. i understand cutting costs after spending big money on 2 free agents but yesterday they traded 2 veteran leaders on the team for basically nothing. Last years team had really good chemistry and I think Dudley and zaza had a lot to do with this. These trades may not effect the bucks at all with Parker taking over for Dudley and Monroe taking over for Zaza, but I think when you have a really young starting lineup, solid veteran leadership off of the bench is necessary. Looking at the bucks roster, the zaza trade does now but the roster at 15, so maybe this was a consideration in the trade too.
  20. i don't think that this has anything to do with anything. Its not the other side that is opposing this. If all of the Milwaukee democrats voted yes, they would have just about enough votes to pass the state senate.
  21. Herb Kohl has taken advantage of many low interest loans from the NBA, not sure what it can be used for.
  22. This is how every stadium is built. This debate is identical to what Kings and Vikings fans dealt with. While they could easily build the arena and that they are the ones to most benefit from it, the cost of doing business is for local / state governments to help subsidize the arena.
  23. brewers already tweeted that Cravy will start tomorrow. who knows what will happen after that though.
  24. hopefully this gives Cravy 2-3 starts atleast
  25. why the negativity? i still think somehow this is going to get done.
