  1. i am happy to see that its a false report. i should have been skeptical last night when i saw onmilwaukee.com was the only one reporting this.
  2. the great thing about the network is that i can still wake up at 8am and watch them on demand, without knowing the results. I am excited for the show. I can also then skip some matches like Cesaro vs Diego, which make no sense to have on there. I loved the 3 pieces on Finn, really great prospective since i didn't know of him until he got to NXT. Really makes it a guy that you want to cheer for. I am curious to see if Finn wins. This would allow the full transition to Raw for Owens. I think it makes sense at this point, or else why would they have spent 3 weeks hyping Finn Balor.
  3. I think it would be smart to promote Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch at the same time. They could form a faction like The Shield or Nexus. It would breathe some life into the womans division. They have nothing else to proove at NXT and would give an opportunity for other female wrestlers like Alexa Bliss or Dana Brooke to see what they can do.
  4. does it make sense to hire a scouting director for only one season though. I know this was always the theory, and maybe he took the job knowing he would be Melvins successor,
  5. I think alot of free agents are going to take 2 year deals, knowing that there could be a large payday coming with the expanded cap. I know Monroe was only looking for a 2 year with a player option.
  6. I think badger fans probably have too high expectations on the next coach, i don't think it will be Bennett or Smart, and I am sure Barry will take a Wisconsin guy in Gard, just like what he did with Chyrst. Bo will have a large say in his replacement i feel and he already made his desires known. Its why i never though Smart was coming to Marquette, and he wouldn't leave a school with its own network for Wisconsin.
  7. big news out of Madison, Bo Ryan will retire after next season with the hopes of Greg Gard taking over. ------------- Here's a link to the last couple of pages to last year's thread in case anyone would like to continue any previous discussion: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=31906&start=360
  8. he is a free agent after this next season i do not get the trade Awful trade, but if it keeps them from throwing the max at Brooke Lopez, I'm fine with it. We gave up assets to give Toronto a salary dump. Also, Marshall won't be ready for the start of the season, he may miss the whole thing. Normal recovery for an ACL injury is 12-14 months. Jabari is a freak of nature. what is the logic in taking Dudley's bad contract for a 1st round pick, only to give up that pick to get another bad contract.
  9. he is a free agent after this next season i do not get the trade
  10. i think that Rashard Vaughn fits the bucks profile as a draftee. youngest player in the draft with huge upside.
  11. there will be, the brewers announced it yesterday
  12. looks like some wisconsin high school has already ripped off the bucks logo http://images.performgroup.com/di/library/sporting_news/8d/f/elk-logo-twitter-061915_hf04jmh61km1n6p84e7t3bin.jpg?t=226206958
  13. i probably wasn't clear. i agree that if an NBA or Euro team will give you millions of dollars, you should take it. you could get injured and loose it all. My point that very few of these players are ready to contribute their rookie season, so they are of little help to the teams that are paying them
  14. Giannis was drafted 15th still. I think its possible to get a good player. The issue with the draft is most players that come out are not ready to contribute right away and should have stayed in college another season or 2.
  15. my top 2 choices are Portis or Harrel.
  16. there is something to be said about maintaining team unity, remember in 2002 when the bucks signed Mason and everything fell apart. I think 15 is too much for middleton, but i don't think i have ever seen a bucks team play as a unit as much as last years team did. there is something to be said about that.
  17. beside Schafer, there is noone else i would DFA over Wang. I don't get everyone's love affair with him, he is 23 and has a 5.93 ERA, with only 45 K's in 60 innings in high A ball. Thats not even a prospect.
  18. Harrell reminds me alot of Sanders and should be sitting there at 17
  19. the bucks have enough cash to sign Middleton and one of the big FA centers. I am not sure if you can trade the rights to Middleton, with him being a restricted free agent.
  20. baseball has a history of cheating, like stealing signs, and i really don't have a problem with that. i just hoped sports wouldn't change to the point where teams are hacking into eachothers computers. Really turns me off to the whole thing.
  21. i agree, this screams Tim Thomas, Bobby Simmons to me. i would like Middleton back, but I agree that at this salary it could get ugly quick. haha, Tim Thomas is exactly who I was thinking of. I like Middleton, I just don't think he's a 15 million dollar a year man (Yet), and he may never be that guy in Milwaukee. i don't like the idea of giving a role player starter money. lets face it, if parker doesn't go down, he doesn't the opportunity he got and isn't in line for a 15 million dollar deal. it upsets the balance in the lockerroom as well as strains the cap. i like middleton as a player, but i like him at 10 million not 15
  22. i just heard today that the reason why he had to wear that ridiculous black with yellow polka dot outfit was revenge for leaving the WWE for WCW.
  23. i don't think it makes sense to give a 32 year old a 4 year max deal at this point.
  24. i agree, this screams Tim Thomas, Bobby Simmons to me. i would like Middleton back, but I agree that at this salary it could get ugly quick.
  25. i think it makes more sense to draft a big, try to sign a shooter in free agency and save the cap space to lock up Giannis, Parker, MCW once they come up for restricted free agency. Thinking about it, i like the idea of drafting Montrezi Harrell at 17. He seems like he could fill in the role Larry Sanders should have been able to. In the 2nd i would take Joseph Young if available. that would be a great draft. The bucks did show that they are way ahead of schedule, but to be locked into a bad contract with Lopez, Chandler, etc for the next 4-5 years really doesn't seem worth it, unless you feel the bucks are ready to compete with the Cavs for the east, and i am not sure they are there yet.
