  1. there was a minor leaguer who did, but i don't think it was dillard.
  2. nbadraft.net has us taking alexander now. I know he may be a reach, but i have seen what he can do while he played marquette and i think he would project well as a nba player.
  3. don't do it, i filled one out after "tailgating alot" last season and they constantly called me trying to get me to hear there presentation in exchange for a dells trip.
  4. I also like Alexander but admit he'd be a reach at 8, which doesn't necessarily mean that they shouldn't take him if they feel he would help. It just seems to me that there are a bunch of players that could go anywhere from 3 to the mid-teens.
  5. okay, so we've established that I'm old. Hooray me. Now tell me why I've never heard of most of these guys. What type of music do they play? Techno? Heavy Metal? Alt? Are they local bands? Do they have CDs out? Are they in the Columbia Record Club? most of them are rock, hard rock, or alternative acts. A couple are 80's or 90's bands. Its a mix. I have heard of almost everyone, but really not inspired by most to go out and see. There are no local bands in that mix.
  6. Gordon and Mayo are 2 guys who just don't impress me at all. Sampson is just an assistant. Look at the donkey's the bucks had on previous staffs. Sampson I can live with.
  7. I know he is not. My point is that he is hardly a point guard that stresses defense. At 6 feet you can be a good point guard, I just wonder if you can succeed for skiles if you don't play d.
  8. that would be right, i wasn't thinking but the odds of that happening are very low (0.03%) http://nbadraft.net/2008lotteryodds.asp
  9. I don't like Mayo at all. I think he would be too much trouble than he is worth. Augustin is undersized and his defensive skills are questioned (sounds like another bucks pick from Texas). I like Westbrook.
  10. well they can only get 1,2,3,7,8,or 9 If they get #1 you have to take Rose. If they get 2 it would be Beasley or Rose, at #3 I would take Bayless. I think there are a bunch of guys they could look at if they stay at 7 or drop to 8 that includes Gordon, Love, Lopez, and Westbrook
  11. hopefully that off day did well for the team and this is a start of a good streak.
  12. rock stage announced yesterday, 1021 stage announced today 6-26 They Might Be Giants Drowning Pool 6-27 Sevendust 6-28 Shinedown Willy Porter 6-29 Polyphonic Spree Theory of A Deadman 6-30 Paramore 7-1 Filter 12 Stones / Red / Skillet 7-2 Alkaline Trio Finger 11 7-3 Plain White T's Gomez 7-4 Seether Five Finger Death Punch 7-5 Jackyl Cracker 7-6 Mickey Hart The Bravery Overall I find the lineups disappointing. Probably will make it out for 12 stones, red, skillet. I have tickets for STP, but would of made it to Seether if I didn't, Maybe the Bravery on the last day and Polyphonic Spree but thats about it. The other stages are pretty much announced, but I really don't ever visit those.
  13. I am open to trading him in the future, but not right now. LaPorta would be a logical replacement, but he should prove something in Nashville before he comes up here. We control his rights for 3 more seasons, therefore it wouldn't make sense now to trade. In addition his value has to be lower than it was at the end of last year, so that would be another reason to hold onto him.
  14. i have a friend who flew in last night to go to the game tonight and she is flying back tomorrow late afternoon. If the game gets rained out she is pretty out of luck.
  15. I think 5 wins is a good goal. we can't loose any more ground as there are 4 teams even or ahead of us which is going to take some work unless we get going soon.
  16. that was Jackson's problem in his last stint and he hasn't done anything to deserve a call up. hopefully he proves us wrong.
  17. weaver had one bad outing and one good one, i'd let him have one more in nashville and if bush can't pitch well tonight, i'd give jeff a chance. if he sucks it up and we get rid of him, it doesn't hurt the organization as all.
  18. with this pen and everyone in their revamped roles, don't we need another reliever. I wouldn't be surprised if Dillard was up here tomorrow. Also if Bush has another bad outing I'm sure Weaver will get a shot.
  19. i'd rather go with weaver if we want to shake up the rotation. His second start was much better than the first. I like McClung in his mop up role and wouldn't be comfortable bringing him in to start or in clutch situation.
  20. project / design engineer
  21. i am still not ready to give up on Gagne. If you look at the 5 saves he blew, really the only one that was pretty bad was opening day. The game yesterday, in my opinion atleast, The stros benefited from a missed call at 1st and a pretty small strike zone. Still he had a chance to get out of it and failed so its only a small excuse. I think he just needs to put yesterday behind him and go with it.
  22. None taken. I don't think we do make them welcome. I have been to a few brewer cubs games and there always seems to be scuffles in the stands between fans of the two teams. I enjoy watching baseball, all the other crap i can do without.Going to games now would be more fun than a few years ago when the cubs were fighting for the division and we were trying to stay out of last place.I know this has come up before. I have tickets to the last game of the season against the cubs, but other than that i am not going to brewer - cubs game because its hard to concentrate on the game when we have a bunch of idiots from Illinois who go out of there way to be drunk and obnoxious. Its the same reason my opening day every year is game #2.
  23. the one thing that is apparent is signing skiles fast was smart. I think Carlisle will be highly sought out by Pheonix and Dallas and Skiles would of been to as both are looking for a more defensive orientated coach. There are way more jobs now than i thought would be open. i think the added of Sampson is a positive thing.
  24. i really love dummy. and that ill have to check out those other 3.
