its not what Adams will do in LV. Its if they bring in a 10-15MM WR, what numbers will he put up with Rodgers throwing him the ball for 1/3 - 1/2 of the $ Adams got.
i don't think its Screw Adams. I think the majority of packer fans (me included) think his QB had a lot to do with his success and the packers should be able to get a cheaper WR with similar results.
There doesn't seem to be. In theory, using the value charts you could package 22 and 28 and move up to 8. From my initial draft review, there seems to be a bunch of WR's that are 1st round talents but do not stand out against any other one.
Obviously the smart move is to wait to see what they do with the 20MM of cap space and the 2 picks. I'm OK with this. I would imagine that they can bring back Douglass if they want and get a FA WR who will not be a large dropoff from Adams.
I did not expect to beat them, but I didn't expect to get blown out of the gym. Still it was a successful first season under Smart and look forward to next year. Go Zags!
This is a week old, but its news to me.
I think this is a smart strategy for UWM (hire a D2 head coach). They went with assistants the last 2 times with not much to show for. The milwaukee media has been very quiet on this coaching search.

well you have to consider that he tore his ACL at the end of last season, so there is risk by the bucs that 2022 could be a lost season or one that he performs below norms during.
Bojorquez averaged 46.6 yds. without knowing the 2022 salary difference of the 2, I would be confident it would be more than to justify an extra .4 yds / punt.
good signing. Obviously there was a cost savings, but atleast he has cold weather experience and as you said, performed pretty well. Also nice that he was the bears holder, so they have that covered
Even though I'm leaving work early tomorrow to watch them, there doesn't seem to be much excitement or optimism about tomorrow. I'm happy that they are in and I'll give them a punchers chance to pull off the upset.
so now that the lockout is over, the million dollar question is how are we going to watch them. I am holding out hope that bally's does announce a subscription service that would allow me to keep my dirt cheap sling and then just purchase this app for 6 months.
that would save about 40 dollars a month over going to direct TV stream. Which i will do if I have to.
i think its pretty much understood that when this era ends, there will be a year or 2 of reckoning. Which is fine, just when that happens keep you picks and draft well. .
looking at what is available as a veteran backup. Dalton may be the best choice. If thats the answer, I agree with you that they may be best to just hold on to Love, unless you get something that blows you away before the draft.
@Brock BeauchampI don't hate them. They can sometimes add some value. most of the time they don't and just causes a post to be huge that really could be one or two lines, or did have to be posted at all.
so far my only (minor) complaint is that I don't like the gif's. They make it much harder to read though a thread. part of thing that makes BF.net stand out is that the simplicity of the site.
yeah its a head scratcher. I would imagine he would command a small salary, but he is 35 and hit .222 last season. Doesn't seem to move the needle at all.
I agree, i think they are somewhere in the 8-10 range. Maybe a run in the big apple could have got them up to a 6. they are 6-7 vs quad 1 teams, which puts them T-16 in the nation. Their net is 42, kenpom 48.
And the Bears get fleeced again. i think they did OK. Mack is a good player but a shell of his former self. to get a 2nd and 6th is pretty good. Probably would have been a better trade if they were in the 2022 draft.
they had it down to 2 from 11. Good 2nd half by Morsell. Too many TO's and horrible shooting is going to do it everytime. Now lets rest up for next week.
Happy its over. Now the largest question is how much damage was done. At the end of the day, I don't think much. I do have some friends who claim they are never going back to AFF.
