  1. 1 year 4 million for Watkins, so no risk on the Packers behalf.
  2. Raimann seems like the exact type of tackle the packers like. I wouldn't be shocked if he is one of their 2 1st round picks along with a WR.
  3. i looked at trade value charts. they could trade their 3rd to move up to about 17 to make sure they get him.
  4. I agree, and I am fine with the 3 other picks. If they want a 2nd round edge guy I would look at someone like a Cameron Thomas.
  5. Kiper released a perfect fits mock this AM, since its ESPN+, i'll only share his packer picks: The 2 WR's he picked, i haven't heard much chatter linking them to the packers and I think they are going to take a T in the first 2 rounds. I know they do like players like Johnson, so i could see that. 22. Green Bay Packers (via LV) Christian Watson, WR, North Dakota State 28. Green Bay Packers Zion Johnson, G/C, Boston College 53. Green Bay Packers (via LV) Alec Pierce, WR, Cincinnati 59. Green Bay Packers Myjai Sanders, DE/OLB, Cincinnati
  6. Orioles putting out Spencer Watkins who had an ERA of 8 in 16 appearances last year. this better be the night the bats wake up.
  7. well yes, but at the time I supported it. It would have been fine if Curtiss didn't get hurt and if Severino didn't get suspended for half a year.
  8. kind of crazy that last summer he was traded for Adam Duval and this offseason he was traded for Hayden Cantrelle and Alexis Ramirez.
  9. they did give up an interesting prospect but his ceiling was probably a Pablo Reyes type guy. This was far superior to going internal or FA options though, so bravo to Stearns. As i said to those freaking out, you have to wait for the corresponding move,
  10. Ramos would be the one that makes sense. He profiles similarly to me as severino as well.
  11. its good news that they are working on improving that position rather than just doing next man up.
  12. Division champs do not get a top 3 seed, unlike MLB or NFL. Therefore it is completely meaningless. You can win your division in the NBA and still possibly not get home court in the 1st round.
  13. Isn't it more productive to discuss options for backup catcher rather than go on rants about PED use and make accusations when you don't know any of the facts of the case minus what the player said.
  14. easy there. A big loss is Burnes, Woodruff, Hader, etc. He is the backup catcher and hasn't done much in his career minus being a serviceable backup thats pretty good defensively. Before we freak out or pass judgment lets see how stearns responds. We know he is already talking to teams and FA's. He found out yesterday, give him some time.
  15. yeah catcher is probably the worst position in the organization to lose a back-up for half the season. I am sure it will be Sullivan if they don't find someone who was cut and out of options.
  16. can't say I know anything about him, but potentially a smart move by the bucks. with their cap situation they have to be creative on adding to the roster. Not sure how much he can help this playoff, but its nice that he in under contract for next season.
  17. what makes the trade pretty bad for the saints is that the 2023 Saints 1st rounder should be pretty high. Also my all reports this isn't that strong of a draft. Eagles could get a top 5 pick easy.
  18. tonight i did add direct tv stream and cancel sling. Its an extra 60 bucks a month but i want to be able to see my brewers when I want. hopefully ballys has their app ready sooner rather than later, but i'm ready for opening day.
  19. it is true, there are exclusive games on ESPN, FS1, Peacock, and Apple TV. Its only 1-2 games a week per day. So odds are the brewers won't be affected significantly. They seem to stay out of the national spotlight no matter how well they play.
  20. I agree. its no longer feasible to watch 9 innings of baseball a day. I'm happy watching the end of the game after the kids go to sleep and weekend games. I was hoping the streaming service would be up and running for opening day but it looks like it will be direct tv stream starting next week for me.
  21. one of the bigger issues with the woman's game is the disparity. For example South Carolina played Howard in the 1st round and outscored them 22-2 in each of the first 2 quarters. Its the same teams year after year. and yes, football is just as bad. It what makes the men's tournament so great.
  22. i agree the PFF mock is fun. It does prove that anyone can get an A or B grade from the experts in any draft for any team. These are nicer than just mocks because it gives users an idea on who could be available at each pick the packers have.
  23. If they don't go WR in the first round, the 1 WR's I like in rds 2-3 is Khalil Shakir and Skyy Moore
  24. When I heard about the trade, at first I was upset that the Chiefs got 3 more picks then the packers, but this is a good point. I would much rather have 22 and the higher 2nd, than some extra 4's and a 6. If the reports of the Jets offer is correct, than the Chiefs obviously did Hill a solid rather than taking the better offer. Jets offer was 526 total points Chiefs offer was 319 total points. Packers value was 359 total points (i would imagine that the Jets offered less than 10 and 38)
