Well it depends if surtain was drafted for the packers (doubt it, but that rumor is out there). Newsome is out there too, also Moore. At this point there will be a player I want available and am prepared to be disappointed

I would be pissed if they traded him to San Francisco. if they trade him, i don't care where he would go as long as the packers got a haul back. Part of what was rough about the Favre situation is that they only got a 3rd for him. I understand its a different situation though.

I can't blame him. You have yet to commit to him financially past this season (cap hit dramatically decreases after this coming season), you drafted his replacement and you spent last years draft building for the future rather than getting him help for this past season even though he was coming off of an appearance in the NFC championship game.

seems like the national media is predicting packers go wide receiver tonight. I still think (or better yet, hope) they wait until tomorrow to get a weapon for Rodgers.

fans complain about a packers taking a QB that most likely never saw play in college. It's not what i wanted the packers to do, but again its not my job to scout these players and i won't get fired if the pick completely backfires on the packers. The pre-draft guessing and checking the draft grades is fun but really only a handful of people have any idea what the packers are looking to do. the reports that the packers are looking at Bateman, probably guarantees that he won't be the pick.

Silverstein was very good on his day of mock draft in getting the picks right in the wolf days. To get the pulse of the team you need a GM that will tell you stuff. These days everything is so tight lipped, anything you put out there is a guess or a feel.

No I don't expect him to be batting under .200, but I think we all realized he was brought in for his glove. (atleast I did)

Garcia hasn't lived up to what I expected when they signed him but he is a FA after this year. Short term deals don't really hurt the brewers. Everyone knew what JBJ was when the signed him and he has been about what was expected. Cain and Yelich have been hurt so one cannot state definitely much right now. Also if McKinney continues to impress, who cares what Garcia is doing because he would be doing that for far less $.

I think based on whom may be available and Packers tendencies I think Cosmi or Samual Jr are the 2 most likeliest options. I wouldn't be shocked if they go WR. I picked Cosmi because of their love for athletic players and my belief that they can get a decent CB in the 2nd.

if they trade Love, I will be more shocked than I normally am on draft night. they moved up to get him. the will not cut him loose so soon. I guess if you can get #15 and there is QB you like better available, but that doesn't take into account the cap hit anyway.

every team needs a mop-up guy that can eat innings. I'd hope he doesnt pitch any high leverage innings, but he's fine for the role he is in for the money he makes.
