Actually NOT really... alot of his strike outs have come from working the count to Full...and then he gets a called 3rd strike on him... so its not like he is just up their hacking..I think its something they have him working on early part of camp is be more patient..

 

Also he using a Lighter bat this year then he has before in his career...so maybe he needs to adjust a bit...maybe he is ahead of the ball a little because he swings it faster..
