This Cubs team is making me sick. I can't believe they are not losing with that line-up.

This is why I just don't believe this insane streak is going to last for the Cubs.

 

Their opponents play defense worse than a YMCA league team right now.

 

They are coming up with absolute dumb luck flair hits and texas bloopers that find a hole and score 2.

 

Their bullpen is tough to touch lately.

 

Their 2-5 are still pitching like Cy Young at times.

 

They are on cloud 9 right now, but they aren't going to play at the clip they've played in the last month for the rest of the season. Nobody is. It's absolutely insane.

If a Cub fan read this thread he would be laughing. It would be fun just to ignore them all together but that is easier to say than do. Oh well, what can you do....if the Brewers win tonight they will match their season high for games over .500 at 14.

The way the Brewers and Cubs are both playing right now, it's irrelevent regarding the playoffs, because they'll both be there.

I don't know if anyone saw in the Sox-Sox game, but Contrares was left in long enough to give up 10 runs in 7.1 innings. It was a 6 runs at 7.1 and for some reason Ozzie didn't take him out, then Lugo hit a Grand Slam.
