As an example of why Peter Gammons is a demi-god he had mentioned in his blog in spring training that as impressive as Howard was that Prince would surpass him because of the age difference and all around hitting ability. I think he also mentioned that Prince had an outside chance to knock Bonds / Rodriguez off the Career HR mantle.

Im a little surprised that Miller is not in there after such a great game yesterday. And with the fact that a lefty is on the mound for Pitt and right handed is Estrada's weak side of the plate. Oh well.

Nice to hear people actually wanting Graffy and Miller included in the lineup.. good sign that the entire team is start to click offensively.

 

I almost wish the all-star break wasn't upcoming as I have a feeling you could see a month of baseball where the Brewers average 6 - 7 runs..

I think the day game after a night game has Damian sitting for today's game. I'd say Damian's next start would either be Thursday afternoon or Friday night.

Ok, work is a major drag today. Slow as it has ever been - being a day before a (badly placed) holiday.

 

I've been waiting since about 1:30 for this game to start and it seems to be about 6 hours since then. This game needs to get on its way.

I know it is early and a small sample size but it is saying something when you make Prince look like the second best hitter on the team..
