Hall has to swing at that pitch. Period. He knows where they want to pitch him, and if he continues to not be able to hit hittable pitches, he's going to continue to struggle.

Billy should have swung at that and taken it to RF. That was way to close on the corner to take with two strikes. I like that Hall has been very patient as of late, but you have to swing at that pitch.

Jenks had 17 HR all of last year. Already 12 this year. Im so glad we kept him, and I hope we do next year as well.

Did anyone expect last year when Geoff was slumping that he would be with the team this year, let alone doing this well? I'm a big Jenkins guy, but I didn't think so. I'm glad he's still here.

They haven't talked a lot about the number of Brewer fans at the game on FSN WI, I'm not sure I want to watch the Twins feed, and I can't hear the radio.

 

I'd guess there are at least 7,500-10,000, based on the roar when Jenkins went yard. It's hard to estimate without any crowd shots or eyewitness testimony. Anyone else hear anything I might have missed?

Jim Powell just said that the Twins are nearly unbeatable at home during the playoffs. The Twins have lost 7 consecutive home playoff games.
