Least favorite chore

I'm kinda bouncing between MLB extra innings, folding laundry, brewerfan , folding laundry and back to brewerfan and I'm not wanting to do dishes. I think dishes is probably my lease favorite chore followed closely by folding laundry. I can't stand the feeling of my hands after I get done doing the dishes. I for the most part keep my clothes in the basket until I get annoyed trying to search for some socks. Then I just hang the rest of my clothes on hangers.

so it goes...

dishes

laundry

mopping

vacuuming

Cleaning our boys' bathroom. Years ago, the ultimate Dilbert house had a children's bathroom that was all stainless steel with a grate in the floor so it could be hosed down. I now see why.

Dishes are easy, just do them as soon as you are done eating. That cuts down on the amount of time you spend doing them.

I'm not a fan of dusting and sweeping now that I live in the desert. You have to do it all the time. I guess it beats having to shovel though.

cleaning the bathrooms. Can't stand the effort. If I could do it only once a year, that'd be great. But it's much more often than that, darn it all.

I have no problem with pruning the roses, taking out the trash, doing weeds, writing out the bills, washing the car. But the bathrooms? no thank you!

Waking Up.

I consider this a chore for me. This is one of the hardest things for me to do. Whether I've had 1 hour, or 14 hours of sleep - waking up and getting out of the bed is my least favorite chore to do. It's not that I don't want to get up and start my day - I even WANT to be up early and be a morning person. However, it is like there are two different Mike's. Night Mike knows I would be very productive and should get out of bed. Night Mike thinks it will be no problem to set the alarm for 7a.m and get out of bed. Then Morning Mike comes and the moment he opens his eyes he knows that staying in bed will feel much better. He doesn't have the same mind set as Night Mike. He hits the snooze button until the last second possible before he will not be late for work and takes a quick shower and runs out the door.

i actually enjoy vacuuming and raking leaves.

things i hate doing:

brushing off my car (not really a "chore", but it's so annoying)

shoveling

dusting

another note:

i have never done laundry in my entire life. i have always had people do it for me...

Cleaning the shower...it takes some elbow grease and some god-awful chemicals in an enclosed space to really get it clean.

100% backing this up....... hate, hate, hate cleaning the shower, cleaning bathroom is a close 2nd

- always fold clothes during brewer game commercials so I don't mind.

- Don't mind any outdoor work as long as its nice outside.

- Dish pretty easy with dishwasher.

- vacuuming i don't do because its my woman's favorite chore.

Today is my chore day where I get to clean my room (I live with my parents and am only responsible for my OWN bedroom being cleaned) and I hate dusting and vacuuming with a passion. But hey, its better than my chores at work on third shift. I work at a group home and I gotta do EVERYTHING there (dusting, sweeping and mopping, clean the stove/oven with oven cleaner, clean and sanitize both bathrooms, sanitize all trash cans, sanitize all light switches and telephones, wash out refrigerator) and that is what I have to do EVERY night I work third shift.

It gets to be a pain after awhile.

Dishes. Absolutely, unequivocally, dishes. I can't stand the yucky water. If I had a dishwasher, maybe I could handle it. But I have bargained to never had to do dishes.

Also, picking up dog poop!
