New Seating Area at Miller Park

Beginning with Monday night's game at Miller Park against the St. Louis Cardinals, the Milwaukee Brewers will offer a new seating area for groups.

The new area, to be called the Toyota Tundra Territory, is located on the field level in right-centerfield between the scoreboard and the right-field bleachers..........

I assume this is the same area behind the handicapped seating in Right-center, the former home of the hot tub and furniture promotions?

 

At $1,800 / game (for non-marquee), that's probably more money than they were getting for other advertising. Seems like a good idea to me.

They need to keep finding seats, that's for sure. May look at adding a few rows on the field level, as I don't see many other places to go.

They put up metal bleacher type seating in the RC outfield, just to the center field side of the visiting bullpen and just to the right field side of the C-IT-GO pump. Very unattractive, like the seating you would see at a high school baseball game.

That was my first thought too (great minds), but yeah, this appears to replace the Ashley Furniture section. $1800 (at least), that's out of my personal price range!

24 seats / 1,800 = 75 a person. that's not bad, all things considered. You just have to know 23 other people. LOL

And that includes a $20 concession voucher, too, so it's like you're only paying $55 for the seat (I'm one of those people that will probably drop $20 on concessions anyway if I'm at the ballpark).

Really? Ugh, that's disappointing for me. Hopefully if it sells out, they can put something more permanent in next year.
