With the way Counsell is hitting and I know he won't hit this great all year but ride the hot hand. He should be starting just about everyday at one of the three infield positons until the other guys hit or he cools off.

Big K. Now what do we do with Parra? He's at 86 pitches and due up this inning. I assume he hits for himself because of our lack of pinch hitters, but do we really throw him back out there to face Pujols, Ludwick, and Glaus next inning?

Not an awful performance by Parra, but with his pitch count at what it's at I doubt he'll see the 6th inning. Parra seems to be the odd man out of the rotation and should benefit from getting some work in Nashville. Hopefully that goes well and he'll be able to stay in games a little bit longer.

I know Uecker is getting shakey at best, but in his defense that ball was literally an inch from going out

I really like the no-bunt there with a left-handed hitting pitcher there that swings a good stick

I did too. Especially with the way Lohse has been getting the ball up.

Looks like Kyle Lohse is finaly getting what he deserves.

I don't know why, but that made me laugh out loud at my desk.

Well you know what I mean? Dude has been practically un-hittable so far this season looking like Cy Young. Were finally hitting him.

Don't look now, but Gabe Gross, counting today, is 5 for his last 13 (.385). He's also gotten on base 10 of his last 18 PA's (.556).
