Well, I believe this is the third time this year the Brewers have won the first two games of a three game road series, yet are going for that first elusive road sweep in however many years. At lease Gorzelanny is lefty and is doing pretty poorly, hopefully Bush can give 5/6 solid innings and the offense continues to do well, maybe there's a shot!

You feel that? That is the tide turning for this team.

What's that I see coming down the road, way out there in the distance?

Is that "Mr. Mo"? Is that Mr. Momentum starting to build up for this team?

Let's go Crew!! Keep it going tonight guys!!

Against the Cubs, Gorzelanny has given up 21 ER in only 11 innings. Against other teams, he's given up 9 earned in 29 2/3 innings. However it's very encouraging that his K:BB ratio is 24:31. Be patient, Brewers! (I'm looking at you, Braun and Hart).

Why does ESPN have Suppan pitching tonight?

Because its ESPN and they are too busy worrying about the Yankess and Red Sox to realize that Yost flip-flopped Soup and Bush in the rotation like 4 days ago

What is this ESPN and why do they have a website? As for the game tonight, its pretty much a guaranteed loss right? If the Brewers do find a way to win and get a road sweep in PNC, I will wear all my clothes inside out tomorrow. Good thing I have off of work, just in case a miracle happens http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Just another reason I have pretty much no use for ESPN or ESPN.com. If it isn't Yankees, Sox or Cubs it isn't all that important in baseball according to them.

I don't think ESPN adjusted the rotation spots since they moved McClung in, and gave Soup an extra day of rest. So the rotation looks different now.

Sheets

Bush

Soup

McClung

Dave Bush pitching after Ben Sheets against the Pirates is like watching a crocodile attack any catchable thing as opposed to a snake attacking a bird in the air.

So watching Dave Bush after Ben Sheets against the Pirates is kind of cool but ordinary instead of extremely awesome?

Not sure I follow totally, but I like it anyway.

And That . . . is one of the most confusing similes that I've ever read. Is Sheets the crocodile or the snake? I'm pretty sure that I'd either like to watch a crocodile attack anything, or a snake attacking a bird, rather than watch Dave Bush pitch.

I typed that while falling asleep watching Animal Planet. I woke up at the keyboard about an hour later. Hah.

I've heard of people that shouldn't post right after a loss . . . or while drinking . . . or any combination of the two, but I've never heard of someone that shouldn't post when they are watching Animal Planet. Oh well, something new everyday, right.

You know what those PSA's say...tired posting is more dangerous than drunk posting. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

A road sweep seems unlikely tonight even though the bats have come alive. I'm just hoping Bush avoids giving up 4 runs in the first inning. If the Brewers manage to come up to bat in the 2nd inning with the score still tied, I'll like their chances.
