Gameday has the replay. It looked to me like it should mostly be on Prince. Rickie had a really tough play to get that throw over there.

 

Then McClung walked the unwalkable wonder, on four pitches no less. I hope the debris that I'm seeing strewn along the side of the road isn't what was keeping the wheels on.

Yeah, that's balancing out Rickie Weeks's batting average and Corey Hart's tendency to hit screaming line drives directly at outfielders.

I hope that if they pull McClung here (which I hope they do), they send him to the bullpen and have him make another 20-30 pitches. We need him to be able to push his pitch count if he is to stay in the rotation.

Another good defensive play by Branyan, what a surprise.

 

I was kind of worried about his D at 3B but wow, he's been solid. Someone else said it and I agree; all his throws are effortless. He takes his time and has been dead accurate to Prince so far.
