I love how Ned always will throw a rookie into the fire like this. Balfour late in a tie game last year, Vinny Rotino getting his major league debut AB in the bottom of the 9th down 1 2 years ago. I don't get it! What could he possibly be saving Counsel for???

The last guy in the bench gets a chance. Why? I know the rest of the bench is pretty mediocre, but this plain makes no sense to me. Kapler?

What the hell is Yost thinking sending up a weak AAA hitter with no experience against Oswalt late in a game to tie with a hit?! Counsell, no, Dillon, no, Rivera, no, I mean the idiocy of sending up Irribarren is just astounding.

The question is... how many runs does Ned let Tavarez give up? My money is on 3. Time to watch some NBA http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

These are the road Brewers we know and love. Two bunts doesn't usually equal 1st and third and 0 out anywhere else in the majors. Or AAA. Or AA. Or A. Or Legion, HS, Pony, Babe Ruth, Little League or T-Ball. OK, maybe T-Ball.

I'm still trying to figure out why Tavarez is in there after a day off in a close game. Did it really only take those couple of appearances to fool Yost? Does he know anything about the history of his players?
