Everyone is over in the Rumors section. I'm not sure the month of July (and impending trade deadline) has ever garnered this much anticipation. Let's hope Melvin doesn't pull a Gary Payton for Ray Allen type deal or Doyle Alexander for 12 straight playoff appearances.

If the Tigers would have hit a bit in the Metrodome, that would have gone down as a super trade. Detriot would have made the series. Funny how things work out...

This isn't a good sign when i'm the first to post

Well.. if they renamed the thread to: Pirates at Brewers / CC Watch it would be on page 35 right now.

I was surprised to see how "low" Soup's ERA was. I guess I thought his last few starts would have ballooned it even more. Here is to righting the ship today.

Lets go Gazpacho. We can get to Duke and get this sweep.

Before the Baltimore start, Suppan's ERA was at 3.68. Of course, he wasn't pitching particularly well before that start to begin with (lots of unearned runs helping him out).

I dig the stars and stripes hats, but they are definitely not worth the $35 they want for them in the MLB shop or at Lids. Good to see Soup turning a quick inning so far here.
