Looking at those records/ERAs vs their opponents... YIKES!!!

oh well, i will be there tonight, so CC should have no problem getting his first win as a Brewer based on my 8-0 record this year (knock on wood)

Posted

Well technicaly Sabathia's stats this year would read

0-0, 0.00 ERA

Since he is changing leagues his stats for the year go back to nothing, but im just nitpicking http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif.

Welcome to Milwaukee CC, hopefully he has a great debut and hopefully he gets a hit as well, be loud Milwaukee.

Go Brewers!

True, but that K/BB number is so pretty I couldn't resist. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Fired up for this one tonight! I'll be in the LF bleachers...I think I might have to keep score tonight to commemorate the start of the CC Sabathia Era!

Standing room only left for tonight.

Glad I got my tickets for this one in February.

Time to leave work now and head on down to the park.

GO CCREW!!!!!

I am pumped!

One request? If CC stinks tonight no one start a negative thread about how he sucks. Thanks.

how does this thread only have 10 posts 1.5 hours before gametime??? come on people! (the only reason i can see is that everyone is at the game!)

Skip Bayless predicted that CC will throw ~5 innings and give up 5 earned. Naturally, since Skip is an idiot, this means that CC will have a great game!

I can't wait for the first pitch, wish I could be at the game. I predict a 7-3 win for the crew tonight. I'm hoping for a sell out, loud and crazy crowd.

Sweet. No where i'd rather be then on the opposite end of a skip bayless prediction.

No knock, crewcrazy, but man I wish we had a sweet woogie graphic for this one

No offense taken...I wish Woogie was around to make a sparkling new "Welcome to Milwaukee" graphic for CC, too, but it looks like he hasn't been able to make IGT's for awhile.

Unfortunately, today I heard Joe Morgan predict the Brewers to win the division now. I don't want to be on the same side as a Joe Morgan prediction.

I hope CC lives up to the hype right away. I fear if he struggles tonight bandwagon fans will be all over him.

Nah, I don't think so. I think even bandwagon fans know he's awesome, but is still allowed to have a bad game sometimes (especially when he might be a little too jacked up for this game).

anyone else feeling a CC buzz kill after the harden deal was announced? i'm sure i'll get excited once he starts pitching, but right now my excitement is quite dampened.

The Harden deal only increases my excitement for this race. I really can't wait for the end of the month now.
