I never said he didn't have much left. I said he hadn't been sharp. He walked the lead-off man twice. Last inning was obviously great.

Couldn't Doug just have done Lee for Cordero? Not that I'm real big on Cruz, but Doug could have still kept him and forgotten about Mench. He sucks.

Well that pretty much sucked. It had to be eating away at LaRussa that he couldn't throw at Bell(the barrel roll at third) because of the game situation.

I'm just giving you crap Brett....That double played killed us....I still like his glove though. When Bell leads us to the wild card this year, hopefully Brewer nation will support him.

You're joking, right?

P.S. Sheets deserved the L tonight.

Sidenote: Sheets' career record now stands at 57-66 (ACE)!

Hard to blame a guy for being injured, as well as his W-L record.

So why does a pitcher get credit when he racks up 20 wins but when it comes to him losing games, it's now NOT his fault? I never understood that rationale. It's the excuse people use for a overhyped pitcher who certainly is not meeting his contractual expectations. His ERA was not super in his first three seasons but yet the wins were due to his super pitching, yet all our losses were due to the lack of run support he received. Gotta love the Brewers kool-aid drinkers on his board.
