Complaint about ads on the radio

This is only half-serious, but, there shouldn't be ads with police sirens in them on the radio

 

There are at least 2 on 1250, and each time I hear it while driving, a little panic sets in

 

Maybe thats the 20+ times I have been pulled over, but, still, I don't like it

I definitely agree. The same thing has happened to me a few times. I instinctively shut off my radio to hear where the sirens are coming from.

Totally, and the ones with "New Mail" sounds always bug me, I flip over to outlook or bust out the blackberry.

That's funny. Where I work I listen to the radio in my cube at a "reasonable volume" and every time that commercial comes on a girl that I work with at a cube on the other side of a walkway area through the cubes can hear it every time. She doesn't hear anything else on my radio but that alarm. Now it's a little joke that its time for me to take my meds.

i like to joe-bob commercials. lol. but i will officially annoint the WORST wssp ad of all time: the new tres locos commercial

 

this is the only commercial i find to be so unbearable i have to mute my radio. it's these 2 idiots (one is a cub fan) who are talking about where they want to eat dinner and "get their drink on". the cubs fan eventually suggests tres locos, which prompts a "tres WHHHATTTT?" reponse, followed by "locos, you know, crazy, like your dumb butt". just when you think it cant get any worse, it ends with one of them turning ghetto and saying how wants to get a "margaRITA".

The other day, I really enjoyed listening to the post game show on 1250 with my 11 year old daughter in the car. Then... a "Silk Exotic" commercial came on. *Click* 540 sounded a lot better.

Sirens mixed in music or on the radio are one of my biggest pet peeves. I don't know if it's reverting back to my high school years, but I always panic and look around if I hear sirens.
