Ok hit somebody...bases loaded they are raking the ball in the getaway day, worse team in the majors....lay someone out and dont let them get comfortable.

Light a fire. This is pitiful. Terrible day...terrible. I say you back up the wagon.

This tells you what you all need to know. Dont talk to me about Carlos Lee. Where was he? Where?

If/When the Royals win, they will finally have more wins than Carlos has home runs. We will have accounted for 8.3% of their wins all season.

Unreal. This tells you all you need to know. In the NBA you have games that defines a season.

In baseball there is a series. For the first half you had the Pirates series and now this series that tells you where we are show you what is what.

Don't talk to me about Lee. He is useless. Numbers can be decieving...That is why I am not really impressed with some stats.

It is games like this you just say back up the wagon...and let the kids play.

Get the best deal you can for him and lets move on.

there no way they should keep Lee or Clark trade whatever you need and start getting ready for 2007

That's the same thing everyone said when we lost 8 in a row. A few weeks later we were back at .500 and people are getting excited about the wild card. It's still early and we're still trying to get our pitchers healthy so let's not jump off the bandwagon just yet.

Exactly BadgerFan. Does it suck that they lost two games to the Royals? Undoubtedly, but there's a post in the venting thread by BSCR from 5/31 where he shows some of the bad stretches the White Sox had last year, including losing two of three to the Royals. Two games is 1.23% of a season. Sure, they "should" have won (yesterday, I agree), but much more is made of games they "should" have won but you never really hear anyone comment about games they "should" have lost but managed to win.

Basically, it happens. If you're going to fly off the handle and say the team sucks because they lost two games, I don't know what to tell you.

Well, the Pirates accounted for a slightly higher percentage when they were swept by KC a few days ago.

I heard the "We want donuts" chant as Matt Stairs came to the plate late in the game (before he got the donut hit), but it didn't give me joy. I can only hope some Brewers fans loaded up on free Krispy Kremes before they started the journey back.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

don"t insult me comparing the White sox to our current Brewers team.

we are 500 at the very best that all i am saying and will stick by that until they prove me wrong

Who compared the White Sox to the Brewers? It was just to show that every team, even the best one in the league, goes through stretches when they lose to teams they're better than.

Yes, and team's like the White Sox do it occasionally, while teams like the Brewers do it regularly - which makes the point pretty irrelevant.
