I'll preface this post by informing everyone that I am a large Dave Bush supporter. But don't look now, with tonight's outing Dave Bush may have moved into the top 3 in the NL in WHIP (was 4th before the start of the game only .01 behind 3rd). Sure he sometimes looks like he doesn't know what he's doing, but the fact that he's only allowing a little over 1.10 baserunners an inning tells me that this momentous drop in ERA isn't a fluke, it was inevitable.

 

Wow, I know Bush has been much better as of late, but not that much. Let's hope he keeps doing whatever it is that he's doing.

I'm sure the JSOnline commenters still hate him because he missed two plays back in June. The guy has been incredible on this road trip, though, and his bat is really starting to heat up. This is a great time for Cam to catch on fire.

I am just amazed at the leather that's being flashed out there tonite. I am sure this defense by cam will give him some lee way with some fans. I know my friends have been on his case saying all he does is strike out. I don't even argue because it's just wasting breath with them.
